Crappy customer service
Upon arrival the pro (a kid with a bad attitude) told me there were no carts. I kindly asked him for a voucher (rain check). He rudely replied that I would have to get my refund online since I paid in advance. I explained that "tee off" does not refund online. He was unfriendly and unhelpful.
Tee boxes a little rough, fairways and greens nice.
Very fun course
Disappointed
I was looking forward to this round having played both courses numerous times in summer. I always enjoyed the North course's classic layout: tree-lined, quick greens sloped back to front, etc. However, was really disappointed with the condition. Fairways were bare in many places, not mowed recently where there was grass. Greens were receptive, but inconsistent due to overwatering, so you never new what the ball was going to do. Besides that, all the practice greens are covered in weeds, impossible to tell how the greens would be on the course and balls on the range appeared to be whatever they found in the ponds around the course.
The North Course is getting shabby.
I have played the Antelope North Course for many years. Today the Course was in very poor condition. The tee boxes were bare of grass in many places and it appears the tee markers had been left in the same place for days at a time with some even missing. The tee boxes that had grass had not been mowed in a while. Fairways are thin and bare of grass in many areas. The rough had not been mowed and was much thicker than it should have been. The greens were in pretty good shape and fast. Recent rains have only helped other courses but here it seems worse. I hope they get it back in shape. Prescott needs good public courses.
well maintained tree-lined city course
Nice layout. Challenging from theblack/gold's make it an enjoyable round. Red tees for my wife play pretty long, but fair. Staff at the bar is excellent. They provided friendly, quickservice. Food is the best golf course food I've ever had-burgers, salad, Reuben. Enjoyed the course so much, we played the South course the next day
Nice Course- Time for new carts!
The public golf selections in Prescott are limited so there is not a lot of incentive to excel. The building and parking lot needs an update. The carts are old and shabby and the brakes are iffy. There is no USB port for charging. The course itself is nice but not great. Dirt paths need to be paved or at least regularly graded.
I found it hard to believe that mid week it took 2 1/2 hours to complete nine holes of golf. We were stacked up at every hall with a no-win end in sight to the delay. Made me remember why I never play this golf course.
In need of Water
Need to figure out how to have water available since no return to clubhouse after nine occurs
