The Cascade at Gold Mountain Golf Course
About
There are two championship courses available at Gold Mountain Golf Club, the Cascade and the Olympic. Taking advantage of the dramatic Pacific Northwest surroundings, the courses offer stunning views from nearly every hole. If the dramatic elevation changes of the Olympic Course are overly intimidating, the more walkable Cascade Course will be ideal. It may be less challenging but that doesn't mean it's easy. The openness of the golf course is misleading, if you want to score low you will actually need strategic, well placed shots on each hole. There are some tricky holes but overall it's a course that will appeal to players of all skill levels. Ample driving areas frame the tree-lined fairways and the player-friendly greens are open and inviting. Gold Mountain's Cascade Course is often the top choice for tournament play.

Awesome course
The course layout and conditions were great. The course is beautiful! Some of the holes had some challenging elevation changes and a nice 200 yard par 3. I look forward to playing here again. I really enjoyed the fact there were no houses along the course. The only unusual item was the fact there is a gun range in the area that produces a lot of noise.
rude staff
Rude staff"
course was overbooked no starter people jumped tee times would not let us start early waited 40 min before tee time nobody teed off for 30 min then backed up 3 groups deep was late starting due to back up slow play do to back up 5 hr to play
Challenging but not too difficult
Beautiful well kept course. Good pace of play. Can't wait to go back!
Always Beautiful
Have golfed this course for over 35 years. The last 25 years or so the course has been meticulously maintained. The last few years the only negative thing I've noticed is that a lot of folks aren't fixing their ball marks on the greens. Still a great course!
Beautiful Course
First time playing and the course was great. The layout will challenge golfers of all skill sets. The practice area covers all parts of your game, from chipping, putting, bunker practice area to driving range. I highly recommend this course, wish i had found it sooner when i lived in Washington...so each time i visit, this course will be at the top of my list...
Always fun
Fair shape for the amount of rain this year. Pace of play was very slow, waiting on almost every hole.
Cascade course is in good shape!
I try to get out to Gold Mountain at least a couple time a year. I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of the Cascade course considering the amount of rain we've gotten recently. It was cart path only, but definitely didn't need to be. Nonetheless still early Spring golf so fairways were soft. Greens had recently been aerated... most holes were in good shape however Hole #1 was still a little rough.
Gold Mountain, Cascade Course
Gold Mountain has 2 exceptional courses on offer, the Olympic & Cascade. If you're feeling energetic, get up early & take advantage of the 36 hole special & double your fun. There's something wonderful, almost mystical about watching a well struck golf ball soar through & around grassy fairways & greens framed by tall timber. Spectacular views abound. This is a fantastic municipally owned & managed gem that is well maintained, plays well & is consistently ranked as one of Washington states top courses.

Great course
First time playing here. Even with all the rain, this course was in great shape. Will definitely play it again.
Excellent drainage
Played during a 5 day pertiod of measurable rain. Course covered in snow 10 days ago. In light of all this, the course was in unbelievable shape. Greens rollIing well for march. Little standing water around greens. No roll on fairways, but not muddy or plugging
Great condition course considering the weather. The people, food, and pro shop all excellent. Looking forward to playing again soon.
Exactly what I wanted
The course is in very good shape, the staff are friendly and the price is excellent.
Best rain course I've ever played
This course is great (same for the Olympic course). What's even greater about this course is how well it plays in wet winter conditions. I can't imagine a course draining better than this one. Fairways would roll even though it was raining and it had been raining for days.
