The Cascade at Gold Mountain Golf Course
About
There are two championship courses available at Gold Mountain Golf Club, the Cascade and the Olympic. Taking advantage of the dramatic Pacific Northwest surroundings, the courses offer stunning views from nearly every hole. If the dramatic elevation changes of the Olympic Course are overly intimidating, the more walkable Cascade Course will be ideal. It may be less challenging but that doesn't mean it's easy. The openness of the golf course is misleading, if you want to score low you will actually need strategic, well placed shots on each hole. There are some tricky holes but overall it's a course that will appeal to players of all skill levels. Ample driving areas frame the tree-lined fairways and the player-friendly greens are open and inviting. Gold Mountain's Cascade Course is often the top choice for tournament play.

Great winter conditions
Course is always well maintained. Staff is helpful and friendly. The views, food, and clubhouse are awesome.
Winter golf at its best
We played the course two days after a week of record rainfall. I couldn't believe how well the course had drained. It played as though it were mid summer including the greens. What an outstanding value.
far away but fun
considering far away from city (about 40 min away from major city), it was fun to play and very good pace of play. course condition was good as well.
Golden day
The Gold Mountain facility is one of the finest municipal facilities to be found. Both courses Olympic and Cascade are lovely and challenging. On this day we played the Cascade and enjoyed unusually good weather for mid winter. The course was in great condition and thanks to Golf Now so was the price. Can't think of a better combination. I would recommend a trip to Gold Mountain for ant golfer in the northwest, you won't be disappointed .
great practice facilities
Considering the time of year and the weather everything was A ok. The pro staff was very helpful ,am considering yearly membership in the mens club.
Gold Mountain A Gem
Booked a single and paired up with two others.
Great people.
Good pace of play and weather held off.
Only wish this course was a little closer to home.
Absolutely Fabulous Day
A bright sunny day after weeks of rain and a well drained course made playing Cascade a delight. The greens putted true. The course is spacious and well planned...no tricky holes...and easy to follow from Tee to green. this is the nicest course in the Pacific Northwest. Kudos!
Wet and stormy
We chose to go out and play even though we knew conditions would be wet and stormy. However, Gold Moutain, being a great drainage course that it is , actually played very dry. Best benefit of living in Bremerton!
Beautiful and challenging course
The fall colors added to the beauty and enjoyment of the golf experience.
Excellent
The course was pack! Staff did a great job getting everyone out and keeping the pace of play gunning well. Greens are in great shape!
Great Course
One of the best courses in Washington. Greens in good condition, some disease in the fairways, but overall good. Major complaint is the cost to rent a cart. Good to walk the Cascade Course, but you need a cart for the Olympic course.
Slow Play / Poor Conditions
When we started playing Gold Mtn. three years ago, pace of play was excellent with almost all of our rounds completed under 4 hours, 15 minutes. Rangers were on the course looking for slow play and doing something about it.
This year, 5 hour rounds have become the norm. We see rangers on.the course, but they do nothing to move the play along.
Cascade is definitely the red-headed step child to Olympic. Much of the fairway grass has died and the cart paths are in poor condition.
Olympic is a terrific golf course, as nice as I have ever played, but 5 hour rounds are the norm on that 18, also. We got stuck behind two fivesomes a month or so ago, which we were told was not supposed to happen. But 18 holes and five hours, 15 minutes later, we completed our round with two open holes in front of the first fivesome and without seeing a ranger the entire time.
Great day for golf.
The course was in good shape. The greens were fast but they didn't have enough carts. Had to wait for a cart. Great value. The best way to play Gold Mountain is to get the good deals from Golf Now.
Cascade Course
This course has something for all golfers.
fairways and greens
The cascade Court is the redheaded stepchild of the Olympic course. The fairways have several diseased areas. The greens are in good shape though.
Good course but where are the amenitiesies??
Fun round. We started at 130 gout done with our first nine, the BACK nine since we had to start on 10. I tried to get hot dog at snack shack. But no dogs! In they were closing the shack at 3pm... We finish our back nine but technically the front nine holes. HOWEVER NOOOOO cart girl. Their amenities were soooo lackluster and did not provide anything!!!
Hidden Gem, an worth the trip.
Really enjoyed this classic layout. If you hit the ball into the fairway, and you're going to enjoy the benefits of going for the green. If you don't, it's not to difficult to get out of trouble. Greens are of good size, quickness and slope. Overall an enjoyable place to play. No homes are nearby, it's just you, your friends and the deer. Very walkable. Restaurant and pro-shop are top notch. Nice stands of mature evergreen trees.
I'd rate this a 8-9 out of ten for public courses.
Beautiful Course!
Had a great time playing this course. It was challenging enough for the weekend type player!
Just the correct amount of hard for us beginners
Had great weather and the course was in excellent shape.
Always a pleasure
The course was in great condition, Marshals kept play moving - it was a delightful way to spend an afternoon.
