Raptor Bay is a great course. Challenging for a mediocre golfer like me. Fairway tend to be a little tight and try to keep your tee shots in the center or you are likely to lose your ball in the scrub off the fairway. Elevated greens add to the challenge. You will enjoy this course but be sure to bring extra balls.
Excellent and Beautiful Golf Course
It is not easy to find a course in Florida that is laid out in a wonderful, private, lush with natural landscaping, and non-condo filled setting. Raptor Bay allows you to pick varied tees that at first seem somewhat short, we played the white blue combo, but the layout and somewhat tough greens give you an exceptional challenge without being too severe. We played with two great regulars who knew the course well and that certainly helped, but honestly, most of the course is laid out before you and the excellent on cart gps gives you an accurate picture of the holes ahead.
Expensive like all Florida courses, but really beautiful and fun to play.
Great golf experience
Really a nice surprise that the course was such a pleasure to play. Good condition -- difficult, but very fair. Greens running fairly fast for South Florida this time of year. Definitely would play Raptor Bay again.
Course was in great condition. Greens , fairways immaculate, great job by the ground crew.
Course was in very good condition. Greens putted very well.
Great day at raptor bay
Course is always fun. We got paired with another twosome and had a great time. Played in under 4 hours. Course was in great shape. We even saw a few alligators. Overall a great day.
Always in goog shape, great layout! No housing to interfere w/ the golf. Challenging golf, but several tees to fit your level of play. Our home away from home, could play every week!
Better than average Florida course. A little expensive, but they all are.
Challenging tee shots, elevated greens. Good test.
Course was in good shape.
Staff was attentive and friendly.
I’d play it again.
The setting, wildlife, and almost no housing is great. The fairways run off into the jungle and the greens are all elevat Ed and slope off on all sides. The course condition around the greens is not great. For the cost to play it falls short of expectations.
Good test of golf
No complaints, good test of golf and in great shape. Very friendly staff!
Nice course, well maintained
This is a fun course to play. It is in very good condition. The staff is really great.
Raptor Bay - A Must Play
My buddy and I got hooked up with a helluva a deal, but Raptor Bay is worth playing even if we had paid the $154 green fee. Also, we were planning to play 36 holes, but we go rained out in the morning round.
This is a challenging course! Crowned fairways and raised greens. Pick your tee boxes accordingly. Pace of play was awesome!!
I'm glad we played it and I'd play it again if I'm back in the area.
Need a stronger marshall
They lost control of the course yesterday. They had a group of ill-disciplined golfers playing from the wrong tees (blue). We waited for 7 minutes on every hole, despite assurances from the marshall that the pace was about to improve. It did not.
Plus, we played white tees which could not have been more inaccurate regarding slope. I’ve never played a 104 slope before. This course is closer to a 124 with smallish undulating greens, massive waste bunkers and relatively narrow fairways.
Conditioning good but super tight and fast fairways which usually rolls you into the cabbage.
Had a good time playing the course with a foursome that was having an enjoyable round.
The holes are easy to see the direction off the tees.
Pricey but not upset after playing the Course.
A little tight for me
Coarse was in good condition although a little dry since it hadn’t rained in at least 10 days or more. It plays pretty short with the back tees only 6300 yds or so. Playing from the white tees meant many par 4s were less than 300 yds. The fairways are crowned in the middle and anything left or right of center tends to roll towards the woods or water. The greens are in good shape and are pretty fast with lots of undulations and slope. There’re was a nice snack bar that that the front nine stops by after the 5th hole and after 9. The carts have a nice GPS that was helpful. Overall I felt many fairways narrowed as your Drive rolled out creating more challenges. The course was a little different than what I normally play so I probably won’t play there again as it was too expensive to not enjoy the round
