Excellent condition for middle of winter!
Played this course for the first time ever in mid-January after several days of rain, so the course was wet and we were restricted to cart path only. In spite of the wetness, the course was in remarkably good shape. Fairways were short and greens were moderately fast. Doglegs favor right-handers who fade their drives. Lots of sand. Lots of blind shots. Length of the course from the gold tees is just right for this 76 year old! Big greens let you brag on how many GIR you had!
Outstanding view from 16 tee
Other than the aeration of the greens this is one of the best courses I've ever played.
Great course in the moumtains
This course was well-maintained and has a challenging design. The variety of each hole with varying grades of elevation was appealing, yet tests all skill levels. The greens were immaculate, but dampness made some of them roll a bit slower than expected. A beautiful course in the mountains!
loved course at age 71
Loved the course which is in excellent condition. Played from the yellow senior tees which made it fun for a 71 year old. Would highly recommend the course to all
Great bargain on Golf Now
From the time we pulled in the parking lot, all was good. Pro shop staff very friendly and upbeat. Course in wonderful shape for late March. Not an easy course, but good views and great playing conditions. Look forward to playing there again very soon.
Course was a little shakey
It was a good deal price wise for a course that has a great layout but the green weren't even mowed and the fairways were a little high. But the pace of play was great we didn't even see another golfer on a 70 degree day. I have played here before so I will prob give them another shot to redeem themselves.
Absolutely a gorgeous golf course!!!
The Stonehaven course at Glade Springs is a wonderful course. I couldn't be more impressed with the conditions, layout, and scenery. The course is moderately difficult from the white tees and im sure a tough challenge from the blue and back tees. Definitely play this course if you get a chance it is well worth the trip. Greens were perfect, fairways were perfect, range is excellent with complimentary balls. Not to mention i had one of the best chicken salad sandwiches of all time from the bar upstairs from the pro shop. If your a golf lover this is a must play!
Great variety of holes
The Stonehaven course at Glade Springs is extremely nice. The staff are very friendly. Played on a Saturday morning of the club championship so the pace of play was a little slower than I would like, but the starter informed my group that the expected pace was 4:45 and we finished in 4:35, so that was all we could ask for. The fairways and greens were rolling out very fast. Sand bunkers were all raked and well done. Course was in great condition for August. If you've never played, every hole sets up well for a fade. Fairways roll quite a bit generally from right to left so, at times a fade is needed to hold them. All the holes offer something different though. Up and down valley elevation changes, but play smart and the course is wider left to right than it seems. All the holes offer something different though. Great views, great conditions, friendly staff, highly recommend this course to anyone in the state looking to play true mountain WV golf on a course done the right way.
Perfect golf outing with the guys.
Great weather, beautiful land scape can not wait to play the other resort courses.
Stonehaven Beautiful Course
Great course, it is very scenic, lets you bite whatever you want. Hope to play it again.
Excellent
The staff does an excellent job and the course was top notch.

StoneHeaven
Great course and service. will be back next sunday. Think the course was in great shape greens were little fast.
Everything I was expecting from Glade Spring.
I had worked here in 91-92. I learned the game of golf on the Cobb Course, So I am no stranger to the resort. However I moved away from the area until recently. Have been wanting to come back and try the new courses that they have built since then. WOW! What else can one say. The Stonehaven Course was superb even in the poor weather in which my group played. The condition of the greens and fairways were second to none. Even in the poor weather we still enjoyed our experience and had a wonderful time. The Pro in the shop was very knowledgeable and polite. The staff were professional and courteous. I can't wait to go back for a rematch.... Thank you Glade Springs for keeping up the Top Notch Tradition....
Great time
Great course. Great place. Very challenging but fair.
Very good course, but...
Beautiful course, excellent layout, but....no signs on multiple cart paths to direct golfers to the tess. Course was playing cart path only on the day we played. There are no yardage markers on the cart path. there are no 150 yard markers near the fairways. requires players to exit the cart, walk out to find a yardage, then walk back to the cart to get a club....a simple 150 stake would make pace of play much faster !
stonehaven
Greens were fast and smooth.. tees and fairways were like carpet. One of the top courses in WV.
Solid championship layout
If you like pure golf, this is your course. Great conditions, everything out in front of you and plenty of challenge, no matter what tees you play. There are surprising elevation changes, and the finishing stretch of 16,17 and 18 is as good as it gets. The 16th, with forced carries off the tee and the approach, is particularly strong. While the other courses at Glade Springs have a little more wow, better players will definitely appreciate this classic George Cobb design.
Spectacular holes, solid golf course
With dramatic elevated tees, particularly on the back nine, almost lost here is how playable and solid this golf course is. It complements the other two courses at the resort nicely, a little more scenic than the Cobb Course and not quite as many twists and turns as the Woodhaven Course. Owned by the same folks who own The Greenbrier, service is exceptional, too.
