Bear Creek Golf Complex - Bear Course
About
The Bear Course is one of two courses at the Bear Creek Golf Complex; it is a championship-length course while the other, the Cub Course, is an executive length course. The Bear Course is an inland, links-style course with rolling fairways and well-manicured greens. Strategically placed bunkers situated throughout the course add some challenge to the course. A round of golf on this course can be played in less than four hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex, in addition to the two courses, also offers a full grass driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

Overpriced
Not much to see here. Course was back and forth thru the urban desert. Way overpriced.
Heat in August
The course was in good shape I thoroughly enjoyed playing it. Looking forward to bringing some friends from Houston for a dry experience.
Great condition
fairways were in great condtion, greens were very nice, very nice shape for this time of year. well worth it.
Overpriced. Kind of boring.
There isn’t a single hole you think “oh this is a fun hole”. Nothing to look at. Very flat.
Course conditions were on par with the other public courses, which means they were not great. For some reason, they’re still charging 60 a round when it should be more like $35-$40.
We played our round in 4 hours, and had to wait to tee off several times, yet the Marshall asked us three times to hurry up. What’s that about? Probably wouldn’t play here again.
Decent course for the money
The course is in good shape. The pace of play is slow. Some of the players don’t have course etiquette. If you get stuck behind slow players it can make for a long day.
Great!
Course is in great shape for this time of year greens were true and some what fast fairways we're not over watered. The staff all around are great! Will always come back to play any chance I get
Great Training Opportunity
I took my daughter to play the cub course twice this week. What a great way for her to get her first glimpse of the game and build some confidence. Very grateful to have a facility like this to increase my family’s enjoyment of the game I love.
Free for all
Well the condition of the course was pretty darn good for this time of year. Just sucks they let 4 singles go out in a row. And then don’t monitor their play at all.
Paired up with a single behind me cuz it’s the right thing to do, then 5 minutes later we are just waiting on the single infront of us who is waiting on the single In front of him. Literally both guys at the tee box at the same time and they can’t pair up?
This course really needs a marshal to keep people honest.
Also, as soon as I turned 9 all of a sudden a 4 sum was teeing off on 10. Right behind the single I was waiting on all round. I asked where the heck did you guys come from and they just looked confused
Decent course but the organization made it much less enjoyable
Fun course to play
Had a real nice round today at Bear Creek Bear course. It's a fun course to play, good length from the back tees, interesting hole layouts, very walkable. Conditions on Jun 1 were pretty good, a little dried out transitioning from winter to summer grass. But the greens were very honest, rolling nice, and a good speed. Held some long iron shots nicely. Very hard to read these greens. The slopes are deceptive with the surrounding elevation changes, making it hard to determine where the ball will break. There isn't a lot of danger on this course, not a lot of trees, so it's pretty simple in that regard and not much shade to be found. A few lakes to keep the challenge there, not overly bunkered. I only found one bunker all day.
My only critique would be there is no drinking water or even beverage cart of any kind during the week. It made walking difficult when you have to lug your own water all the way around the course.
