Bear Creek Golf Complex - Cub Course
About
The Bear Creek Golf Complex offers two golf courses, one championship length course and one executive length course, the Cub Course. This sporty course is ideal for beginners and families. Like its sister course, the Bear Course, there are rolling fairways and well-manicured greens that have unique swales and collection areas. The design features five par 4s and the rest are par 3s, all of which vary in length. A round of golf on the Cub Course can be completed in less than three hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex also boasts several practice facilities including a lighted driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

Tiny little course but fun
Definitely a small course but you know that going into it. Not much challenge or variation in the layout. Good conditions for this time of year but don’t see how you can ever charge more than $20 for this. Tee boxes need some work.
Father Daughter Time
It was mine and my daughter’s first time playing “The Cub” and we were very pleased. We had a really good time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course was easy to follow and setup good for beginners and players that want to squeeze in a quick 18 for practice or fun. We will definitely play there again.
Great place for beginners to feel comfortable
Love coming to this course. It’s a stress free and great for beginners to hone in on their skills. Practice area is great.
Nice short course
In good condition but greens a little bumpy. Looks like they were punched recently.
Good overall experience.
Work is needed on the drainage and on course bathroom.
Plugged greens
No good,,greens were in bad shape , Tee boxes were not level. The starter said that we had to share a cart with a stranger.
Great Course for practicing
I have been here a few times and have never had to ride with someone when we both are singles. When I pay I expect to drive my own cart. Then the workers at the first tee box were a bunch of grumpy old men complaining about the carts and talking about the front desk workers.
Fast round
Greens had been recently aireated so a little bumpy
Great Executive for beginner.
Good course for beginners and excellent for short game practice. Weekend pace of play is slow, but that's part of courses designed for beginners.
Good Valie
Good little executive course. Beware Sunday’s children play free with paid adult - great thing here but it slows the round down a great deal. Would play again but perhaps not on a Sunday. Worth the money course was decent staff was friendly.
Very nice course
We play here quite often, although usually earlier in the day, and the pace of play has always been good. This time, not so much. It took over 4 hours to finish 18 holes with significant waiting for the group in front of us (who were also waiting on the group ahead of them). On the plus side, the course conditions were better than I remember them being last year at this point in the season.
Bang for buck
Greens and fairways are always in great shape. This time around I was stuck behind a family of 4 and I was playing by myself. Pace of play usually is good, ended up joining another group because of the long wait
Bang for your buck
Always consistent fun practice course. If you’re looking for a quick round this is the place. Greens and fairways are always in solid shape. Highly recommend for the price
