Bear Creek Golf Complex - Cub Course
About
The Bear Creek Golf Complex offers two golf courses, one championship length course and one executive length course, the Cub Course. This sporty course is ideal for beginners and families. Like its sister course, the Bear Course, there are rolling fairways and well-manicured greens that have unique swales and collection areas. The design features five par 4s and the rest are par 3s, all of which vary in length. A round of golf on the Cub Course can be completed in less than three hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex also boasts several practice facilities including a lighted driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

Disappointed
The Cub course was disappointing. Have played the Bear course which is in good shape the Cub sad. Tee boxes in terrible shape. The layout is confusing and missing signage makes it difficult to navigate the course. Given the size and the condition there is no way I would pay what you are asking for the. cub course again.
Interesting Course
First time I’ve played the Cub course at Bear Creek. Some fairly short par 3 holes. Course had a lot of very hard, dry ground outside of the fairway.
Lots of opportunity to practice the short game.
Bear Creek - Not Worth It
I travel around and play golf courses all of the country. Unfortunately Bear Creek would rate as one of the biggest disappointments I’ve experienced in Phoenix. Unwelcoming staff in club house to poorly maintained golf carts. For the price and experience I wouldn’t recommend Bear Creek golf facilities.
A good course for a good value.
The Cub Executive course is a great starter course with decently kept fairways. The course experiences slight pooling after heavy rains, but maintains good playability. The greens are fast but maintained well. Though it’s not necessarily a tournament level course due to yardage and very little challenges, it has come a long way and has definitely developed into an enjoyable course for family, friends and solo players who want to have fun and hit with a variety of clubs. I would recommend checking this course out, as well as its bigger brother Bear Course.
Great pace and conditions
There were a lot of groups on the course but the pace of play was good and moving. Layout of course was easy but the greens were brutal. Some of the most challenging and unpredictable greens I’ve experienced. Can wait to try the full size course.
Excellent greens and no waiting
Course is managed and it shows … excellent course conditions and fast play 😎
Always Fun
It's a great course to enjoy and test your short game.
Great course
Pros: fairways and greens are really well maintained. great staff service, not crowded, good pace of play, great value for money
Cons: carts are petrol not electric, not all areas have cart path, roughs are dry dirt and stones, only 2 basic restrooms out on the course during play
would come back again.
