Bear Creek Golf Complex - Cub Course
About
The Bear Creek Golf Complex offers two golf courses, one championship length course and one executive length course, the Cub Course. This sporty course is ideal for beginners and families. Like its sister course, the Bear Course, there are rolling fairways and well-manicured greens that have unique swales and collection areas. The design features five par 4s and the rest are par 3s, all of which vary in length. A round of golf on the Cub Course can be completed in less than three hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex also boasts several practice facilities including a lighted driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

Bear Creek Cub Course
We had a great round at Bear Creek. Conditions are great and the entire staff is fabulous.
Nice course
Good course where you get to use all the clubs in your bag!
Good Job, Cub!
The course looked and played better then it has in the past. To tell you the truth, I had my doubts, but they really surprised me. The greens were in great shape, as was the fairways. The cart speed made it a little slow to get around the course but, I can live with that. I assume that is to protect the course. Overall, my wife and I had a fun day of it.
Not great
Nov 7 was opening day, 92F with little to no shade, I had heat stroke by the 5th hole and went to the clubhouse, where I was provided ice water. My daughter continued to the 9th before quitting due to the heat. My husband finished but was not happy with the conditions. The greens were covered in fertilizer and cart paths were in rough shape with potholes.
Fun but lacking
Over all I had a fun day and for the most part the staff was helpful and nice. That being said this course has two courses on the property and most of their care goes towards the bigger of the two. If I would have known the care difference between the two courses I would have just spent the extra to not get a deal, the grass was completely dead on every hole, even though the other course looked perfect, and unfortunately I didn’t see a beverage cart or a bathroom the entire course, although they had both on the other course. That being said if I see a deal on their bigger course I’d be willing to give it another try but otherwise I’ll probably find somewhere else to play
Great time
Had a great time golfing. The course has it own sense of fairness and challenges
Good course and condition
Outside service, starters, marshal all very good. Restaurant closed way to early, no beverage cart (even though Big Bear was closed), typical lack there again.
