Coldwater Golf Club
Located in the West Valley, the championship-length course at the Coldwater Golf Club boasts several different challenges for an interesting round of golf. There are elevated tees as well as several dry washes. There are two lakes providing water hazards on the golf course as well. There are also dramatic elevation changes caused by the mountainous terrain. Aside from the challenging game, the course also offers beautiful mountain vistas. The course has not only one signature course but two. The first is the modest eighth hole. Although it is short at 100 yards, it features an elevated tee and a triple-tiered green. Coldwater Golf Club also finishes with a signature hole. The beginning tee shot plays to an open fairway over water with a dry wash to the left, while the approach shot is closed-in by another wash to the left and a lake to the right.

Best out there right now
With over seeding in full affect they got a jump on their’s and this course was in excellent condition today. Greens were a little slow but none of us are on tour. They played fine. Charlie I was told was is name came by and thanked every single foursome on the course for coming out. I’ve never had any course in the valley do that before. We will be back.
Course not ready for play after reseeding.
Cart path only.greens, fairway, tees not mowed, sand traps no sand a total disgrace.slow play 5+hours.I think we should get our money back, and golf now needs to do a better job of telling their customers about the course condition.Question why not drive the carts in the rough....
Relaxing at Coldwater
Played 18 holes in 3 hours, course was in great shape, clubhouse is there at the beginning, after 9 and at the end for food/drinks, with friendly staff! Very forgiving course, but fun to play!
No escape from Power Lines
Visually, the course is hurt by power lines all over the course and a couple of busy, noisy roads. Too many of the green are uninteresting. Two have significant tiers and one has a nice ridge to consider. Tee boxes need work. The rest of the course is in good shape for September (still 105 degrees or more and very little rain or humidity this summer).
Challenging approach shots on most holes due to mounding and dropoffs. Generous fairways.
Somehow, it took almost as long to play the final six holes as it did to play the first twelve?
Minimal staff this time of year.
Gone Down Hill
This course used to be a great value but has really gone down hill. The staff is extremely rude. Not staffed well enough to have any range balls available to hit. The tee boxes were in horrible condition and many of them were completely weeds. Who is running this course now? It is an embarrassment I will not be returning.
The greens were punched recently but it did not affect playability. The greens rolled well and the fairways and tee boxes are maintained very well. The layout is encouraging to hit down the fairway on most holes. The course follows a more natural layout with many contoured fairways and plenty wildlife to look at, and I prefer that style over dyed ponds with fountains and palm trees. The staff was awesome and I'd recommend this course.
The people working at Coldwater are awesome! Super friendly crew. Amazing breakfast sandwiches! It was a great Saturday morning of golf.
Well maintained course. Fairways & greens in very good condition despite the high temps. Cold drinking water throughout the course. Enjoyed my round.
Great golf at the right price.
Played at 615 am and played the round with minimal if any waiting. Highly recommend this course the greens rolled true and the fairways were lush. One thing was like most courses in AZ the traps were less than desirable. No sand. Overall I give it a 4.5
Course recommended by a friend. Three of us played there for the first time and was very impressed with course condition, staff, and pace of play. We will return.
Great fun course.
Really enjoyed playing this course. It was in great condition and offered interesting challenges. Will definitely play again. And, the hot dogs are good!
Greens where good a little bounce but for the most part speed was ok and they rolled smooth. Fairways where nice along with the tees.
