An unexpected pleasure to play. While the greens were still suffering from aeration, the fairways and approaches were in great shape.

Course is well-maintained except for the greens were aerated when I played. Other than that I had a good time playing.

Excellent course, great condition. Scenery is outstanding. Very friendly staff in clubhouse, at range, and starter. Most courses seemingly have aristocratic starters. Eagle Ranch starter very helpful and friendly, similar to starters at Shadow Ridge in Palm Desert.

GPS is well advanced compared to most courses. Great pace of play. Club house and food is very good. Nice practice facility.

Pay attention to the GPS and stay out of the rough. Some of the fairways have islands of rough and you won't find your ball!

The course was in great shape. New carts with GPS's that gave player all kinds of info. Greens tricky. Great driving course.

Be sure to read the fine print when you book with "GolfNow." We did not see that we had booked RSVP for "9-holes" instead of "18 holes." We thought we had received a "special deal" for half the price! Got there and it was near $100 for 18-holes. Our mistake, but the manager "made good" on our misunderstanding and we had a wonderful day. Thanks Eagle Ranch!

Booked a late morning tee time on a Monday. Helpful staff at checkin , range and at first tee. Course in great condition though you do not want to stray off the fairways - the long grass will gobble up your ball.

Only downside was that we were playing as a 2 ball and were stuck behind a couple of 3 ball groups that were on the slow side of average. No anticipation in playing shots and souls stop on greens to mark cards and admire scenery! When you use golf carts and can drive to most shots would expect 3 ball groups to play faster than 4 hours.

well maintained with flexible tees to make your choice of difficulty. EZ to walk or ride which is nice. Great value in beautiful setting.

WOW.....nice course....with some challenging holes. Can't beat mountain courses....the layouts and views are spectacular. Booking on GolfNow made it much more reasonable.

If you want to get away from the tricked up mountain courses this is the place to go. Great layout. Great shape and really fun to play. You won't find any 400 foot drops here. This is a real golf course! 8/8/13

I am not that good of a golfer, I am like a 25 handicapper, so this course was hard and challenging, but It was beautiful so it was worth it. If you are not on fairways, it can be difficult like it was for me. grass are a little high for my taste. They just eat golf balls up if you don't hit it straight. But Like I said it's beautiful out there.

Great course. One problem is the bunkers are not maintained. Many animal footprints, some burrowing animal holes. I don't think the course grooms them. Other than that it was a pleasure to play.

From arrival to departure, everything went as well as one could expect. Course was a lot of fun with good tee box placement so less-skilled players still kept a good pace of play.
Some really fun, well designed holes, amazing views, well maintained fairways, rough, bunkers and great (true) greens... great day.

Beautiful course! Fun with appropriate challenges for a recreational golfer. Very friendly and helpful staff that were extremely attentive to all needs.

This is a great course .... A good arnie course.. However it's it need of a run through ..... On # 5 ... I hit my ball into the bunker I was a foot inside the bunker but was six inches off the ground in dead over grown grass .... Thought a bunker was suppose to be sand and not grass .... Furthermore in some spots the grass is waist tall ... And I'm not talking about wayward drives .... Pace of play depends on how many times u have to give up looking for your ball before the group behind catches up .... This year is the year for pace of play.... Them groom your course to fit the pace that is required not to mention the price people pay to play there ....don't think arnie would be happy with the way this course has gotten over the years

Good driving range, course in decent shape(first green under construction). They have rangers to keep pace.

First time playing course. It was in great shape and very challenging. Better be straight off the tee. Roughs are not forgiving. Looking forward to playing it again.

Challenging course and sooooo beautiful. It's a must play!

I've played here every year for now 4 years. This is the best shape the course has been in. I personally find it a very challenging course due to winds and at times tight fairways. The greens were in excellent shape. As always the staff are super friendly. The pace of play could have been a bit faster, but with such a nice day, it was fine.

Nice track and a great bargain for mountain golf (paid $50 on GolfNow). Front 9 is fairly open, prairie style but back 9 is very challenging with some nice elevation changes, water and tough layout. Worth a try if you are in the Vail/Eagle area.
