McCullough's Emerald Golf Links
The golf course at McCullough's Emerald Golf Links is an 18-hole, public course that is situated within minutes of Atlantic City. Designer, Stephen Kay decided to pay tribute to famous European golf courses such as St. Andrew's in his design. The European influences are reflected in the open fairways, tricky strong winds, and undulating greens. The golf course also boasts the region's only 100-feet elevation changes.
McCullough's Emerald Golf Links' signature hole is the seventh; it is also the course's most unique. The hole features hazards like large bunkers and wide, rolling fairways. Water hazards also come into play on five holes. The acclaimed golf course is challenging but it does provide a truly unique golfing experience.

Golf Advisor: Top Courses in New Jersey
Played in 3 1/2 hours, windy day but the course was in great shape. Can't wait to play it again when I am down there.
Playable fun course
The course sits on an old dump that was transformed into one of the best challenges in the area. The course is very well maintained at a reasonable price. Staff is very friendly and on top of your needs. Great little outside bar that overlooks the 18th green. One of my favorite courses in the area
Good shape considering dry spell for the last 6 weeks. Greens very good.. staff very friendly.
The course was in perfect condition Greens were true. Staff was very polite. Highly recommended
1st Time , Will be Back
It was a cool morning with light wind, course in good shape, with a couple holes fairways freshly aerated. Loved the greens with slopes and bowls, not too many flat putts. Great layout, used the combo of gold and white tees. Staff was great.
Fun course that delivers what is advertised
Have played Mccullough’s now several times , great staff , and for a Links course it adds a fantastic dimension to your round that lots of other courses can’t deliver. If you haven’t played there give it a try . Only one small thing is that they do not have a practice range which is a bit disappointing. But overall it is a fun round the bar and food afterwards is also fantastic.
Always a great time at Emeralds. Course is awesome and so is the staff. Looking forward to next round at Emeralds.
I had not played this course in a while and I was pleasantly surprised at the excellent condition, It was a very nice day and I would recommend playing this course.
the course was in great condition our playing partner was fine and very helpful. There were some slow spots but but it was Labor Day weekend, The bar was nice and drinks reasonable. Overall it was a very enjoyable day and i would recommend this course.
Best Condition of any Course in the area
Really nice course. Fairways were fantastic, greens best in the area and roll true. Staff is fantastic. Best value for all courses around. Will play many more rounds here
5.5 hour round
The tee times were way to close together. Basically wait and hit. Never good for trying to get into a rhythm. The good news is theirs plenty of other golf courses to play.
Fun course with a great layout
Nice track and a great value in a very convenient location. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Will most definitely get back there soon.
great day and fun course
Some great holes and some holes you can really score on at McCulloughs. The course is a blast and the wind keeps it really challenging. Almost aced the 180 yd 13th hole into the wind which was the highlight of the day. Course is in decent shape and the greens are good. Some of the fairways have some rough patches but otherwise things were really good. You will use all the clubs in your bag at this course and it is a nice test of golf.
Great day at McCullough's
My friend and I were visiting the Atlantic City area and chose to play McCullough from the Golf Now listing...we were so pleased with the course, we went back again a few days later. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The course was in great shape, especially considering the heat wave last week...Conditions were very great, with the exception of a few very difficult pin locations...Thank you to McCullough's for a great day...
A good first nine plus
Played recently in July 2019 for the first time. We were happy with front nine but back nine was too gimmicky as it is built over an old land fill.
Bar and clubhouse were nice.
Will not be back as there are too many other nicer courses in south Jersey.
Great Surprising Par 4's and Elevations!
At times it was great to look around and remind myself I was in Egg Harbor, NJ., This is a course that you will want to visit annually to get a feel for history and authentic golf. Wind, elevations and clever hazards keep you thinking and charging towards the well kept greeens. You feel welcomed from check-in to the 19th hole.
Take the time to play these links you wont be disappointed!
