Wolf Creek Golf Course
About
Since 2001 Wolf Creek has earned a reputation as one of the toughest golf tracks in the Atlanta Metro area. Wolf Creek boasts a 7028 yard par 72 championship layout with bent grass greens which is just one of the reasons Golf Digest selected Wolf Creek as the best course near Hartsfield Jackson Airport. The Mike Young Designs course incorporates both low flatlands holes, bordering many wetland areas, and holes with dramatic elevation changes. Wolf Creek has four sets of tees to accommodate players of all skill levels. A practice range and practice green allow for serious work on your golf game or just a warm-up before your round.

Wolf Creek Golf Course
Played Wolf Creek Golf course on the 16th of November 2023.
The course is in good shape and the staff was very friendly and got me checked in very quickly. Paid 49 dollars to play on 2 hours notice.
The practice range is great for warm up but has a severe drop off. Small bucket of range balls is 6.00.
I played 18 holes from the Blues about 6200 yards. The tee boxes I found to be level and in good shape overall. The fairways are cut nicely. The greens are on the smaller size and are very fast, bring your approach game or your will miss but you do have some room for error and the collars are cut close to allow for using your putter from just off the green from most holes. The roughs have a lot of leaves which is hard to manage and can be expected this time of year in Georgia . The maintenance crew is keeping up because the greens and fairways were clear and playable.
Pace of play wasn’t an issue until I caught a 4 some that was holding up the course for the last four holes making a backlog of several groups. Simple fix, just a lack etiquette something not on the staff.
Overall it was an enjoyable round. Would definitely go back soon and also recommend this course to anyone looking to play golf on an interesting and challenging course.
WAY better than expected
First time here, have considered it many times before but never did because the pictures didn’t seem to jump out as an attractive course.
I was WAY wrong. I didn’t expect much and by 4 holes it had already become one of my favorites in Atlanta. Layout is great with some pretty cool elevation changes, greens and tees are also in great shape. An added bonus is the golf carts are top notch. GPS course system with a Bluetooth speaker attached. I can’t wait to play again.
I'm breaking 90 and getting better!
Neighborhood course that gets me every time! New greens, new carts, fantastic staff and extremely consistent!
Really good value!
It had been a few years since I last played WC and it didn't disappoint! $40 for a mid-week round is fantastic. The pro-shop lady was very friendly and welcoming, as was the starter. The course was in excellent shape (better than I remember it). The Bermuda rough was higher than I expected for this time of year, making wayward shots tough to find, but that's golf. The greens were fast, so you needed to stay below the hole, but the rolled true.
The only thing that could be a little better is the grill room (very, very small and not much of a bar or food menu). Also could use some additional on-course signage to eliminate confusion getting to the next hole as, in some cases, the cart path route isn't intuitive. For example, leaving 9-green heading to 10-tee, most would expect to pass / visit the clubhouse "at the turn". There is a sign directing you to 10-tee, but no sign directing you to the clubhouse, which is near, but you can't see it from the fork in the cart path. So unless you already know it's there, you may miss it entirely (as my group did). With no bathrooms on the course, a clubhouse stop would have been good. Other than that, fun round, good course for the money.
Greens are Improving, need to add system for blind tee shots
Greens have gotten better since renovation, they are still pretty hard. There was no cart girl the entire round so bring your own snacks/water. They add to add a camera system or bell to a few holes that have blind tee shots, we got hit into which isn't okay.
Perfect layout for an afternoon round of golf
I hadn’t played this course in a few months and but I was pleasantly surprised by the conditions of the course! This course was in great shape and the staff was friendly. I will certainly be adding this course to my weekly rotation!
Great Value Nice Course
A fair course and in good shape. Clubhouse not much, just go to golf.
Greens
The greens are a particular challenge for those not familiar with fast greens.
MJ 10/10
First time playing this course geo alerts were very sensitive and shut down our cart a few times even though we were on the cart path. Back 9 sign could use a few sign showing the direction of the next tee. Other than that we had a great time playing this course.
South Fulton/Renaissance Jewel
Great track and it’s getting better by the week. The right people are in place with the right mindset to make this what it was intended to be. The greens are exceptional and the fairways are getting better. Next, let’s focus on the other green scapes surrounding the course and the amenities
Immaculate Greens
This course use to be a great test of one’s golf game. I’m excited that it’s on its way back to being one of my favorite five courses to compete on and to invite friends and business partners alike to play. Now that the greens and fairways are back up to par, I’m hopeful that the other areas will follow.
Another GREAT Day for me and my wife!
I played from the Blues and my Wife from the Whites and boy was it a great challenge for both of us. Great course and great people!
Great course especially for the price
The weather was perfect and the course was in great condition. The course was wide open so we were able to play 18 holes in a little over 3 hours. The course was challenging which made it a great afternoon.
Fantastic Golf Course for all levels
Another great 18 holes! And the deer wanted to play too!
