Wolf Creek Golf Course

The greens were in excellent shape. The fairways were in decent shape. Overall a great round on a steamy Saturday!

Course is in great shape! GPS carts. Was pretty open but we played on a Friday afternoon and it was raining that morning. Course plays super long; driver can be used on every non par 3 for the most part. Greens were great and challenging. Will definitely be back!

The staff was awesome and the course was in great condition.

Staff there is awesome. Greens are well kept as are tee boxes. Range is okay. This place needs a beer / liquor license but other than that it’s actually pretty nice. Denise at front desk is very friendly.

Good to see the course getting better. We did leave our GPS’s on the carts. Our fault but hopefully they turn up!

We got there at the end of a storm and they let us play. Halfway down the first hole they call us back in after some lightning. We see on the radar that it’s passing so we wait it out, and after 10 minutes my buddy finishes the hole. The ranger comes out and yells at us about how they’re closing the course and we won’t get a rain check even though the storm is over and the weather is now beautiful. Clearly the staff just wanted an excuse to go home. This is the second terrible experience I’ve had here. Last time I played the conditions were so terrible they had a “green” spray painted onto the fairway.

The course is in good shape except for the tee boxes. They need more sunlight for the Bermuda grass to grow. They have new carts with a GPS in them. However, if you go a little off the fairway the GPS will not allow you to go too far. It’s kind of aggravating

Personally, I am not going to come back. Pace of play is terrible. The guys that regularly play there are awful and have no etiquette.

The newer greens are still slow, but you can tell after another season of growth, they're going to be excellent. Course in good shape. Staff was friendly. Played in 3:30.

I really enjoyed my round of golf yesterday. To my surprise, the greens are in the best shape ever. I’ve been playing golf at Wolf Creek since 2005 and the greens have never been this good. I love the layout of the course. The fairways are in pretty good shape; some of the tee boxes need a lot of help (balled spots covered with sand); bunkers are well-constructed; but the greens are in unbelievable shape.

Course was in much better condition than my recollection. Fairways were firm, rough was fair and greens were rolling true. This course is a true test of shot making skills given the number of blind shots and forced carries.

Denise at the pro shop was super friendly and helpful! Course was in good shape especially the greens. The golf cart GPS system was very helpful.

Staff was very friendly, course is in very good shape. I would recommend to anyone in the area to check it out.

First time playing Wolf Creek. Great value for the money. Course is in above average conditions for a muni. Most greens are in very shape, roll true. Played on a Sunday, so pace was a little slow. Still managed to finish in 5 hours. I’ll play it again, next time passing through Atlanta.

Fun course to play, staff was very friendly and helpful. The greens were very fast but well maintained. Pin positions were NOT the greatest.

Course is looking good. Tee boxes are being worked and the only real issue. They are leaving the fairways and greens pretty long which takes away a bit from the experience because they are so slow. If they cut them low and made them fast it would be a 5/5 experience.

I'm a regular as is my family who also live in the neighborhood. I've been to about ten different courses over the last year and Wolf Creek is by far the most consistent place around. The staff are friendly, the greens are challenging, the Par 5 opening hole drives me and my wife crazy but we'll be getting that birdie soon enough! I hope the folks there never change! Yesterday we saw another set of twin deer and their mother!

Y'all should give this course a shot! I'm glad we did!
