What could have been.
Great layout but greens and ponds are in poor shape. Way out in the middle of no where. Nothing special
Gem yet painful
This could be the best course in the El Paso area and although the conditions are improving they Re not there yet. And on top of that the staff over booked the course during mid day and did nothing to help the pace. Was an over 5 hour round.
One of the Best times my son and I had at the golf course. He has played other courses and I wanted to see how he would do at a challenging course. He did pretty good, I was impressed.
Nice Surprise
Coarse was in good shape, best that I have seen at this coarse. Play was slow, but it was still worth it.
Great course but...
One 9f my favorite courses in EP...fantastic layout. However this time they had a bit too much "construction" on the course. Greens were a bit off, didn't have all tees open, and many clumps on the fairway. That being said...I can't complain too much for the price we paid. Overall, a nice course (once maintenance is done)
Tough Links Course
This is improving tremendously, greens used to be bad and now are good.
Great Course
Very good. I liked the area and the course layout, highly recommended.
Not Worth It
All the greens were tore up BAD. Fairways were nice but they were razor thin. At some areas the fairway is only 20 yards wide. There is no rough, it’s just desert and bushes. I was looking for one of my balls just outside the fairway in the dirt and the ranger pulls up to me and tells me to not take the cart into the desert…. 80% of the course is sand and bushes and there are cart tracks everywhere. Absolutely no shade on this course. Course would have been way better if it didn’t look like someone was doing donuts on every green. A heads up at booking or paying at the counter should be mandatory if the greens are going to be unputtable. I won’t be coming back to this course lots of other options in town to go to.
Great course
I was pleasantly surprised by the course layout and overall conditions. A few rough spots on the greens, but appears staff is continuing to work those spots. No pace of play issue, which I loved! Excellent golf carts. First day cold water was provided by the Marshall, but he was not around on day 2.
I'll be back!
Greens
The greens were atrocious, holes, dry spots and gravel everywhere. It’s outrageous to charge that much with greens like those
Improvement
This course is getting better and better by the day. Practice areas are great.
Great Day of golf
The course was great. Now the greens have their issues but it is a desert environment. The staff is very nice and you just have to drop your bags off and someone loads them for you onto your golf cart. The fairways are nice and green and the set up is very easy to follow. Overall I would go there again and again. They have five tee spots for your different skill levels and easy to follow. As my first time on the course I was never totally unsure of were to hit my next shot. I would say the best course I played at in El Paso but I haven't played at all the courses yet. I would recommend this course to anyone.
