The Ledges
The back nine is spectacular. The front nine needs a little more character. There needs to be some work done on leveling the blue and red tee boxes. The outdoor staff was non- existent but that maybe because of COVID-19. The shop asst was very good and helpful.
We still had a good experience.
Excellent experience, fantastic course
As the second time playing this course, I was even more impressed with the experience because the course provided another unique experience; although it appears the holes are short and will be easy, the layout, terrain, and greens provide challenges unexpectedly; my familiarity of the course did not give me an advantage; the staff were very friendly and inviting in the clubhouse and in the grill; the hamburgers we all ate were extraordinary; Grand experience that I can’t wait to return to enjoy!
Great experience
Pro shop accommodated us with an earlier tee time. Everyone we interacted with was friendly. We had played The Ledges three years ago. Nice to have the improvements to 16 finished. Its a great hole!
Thanks for a great round in cool weather!
Spectacular back nine!
Perfect conditions on fairways and greens. The back nine are partly breath taking.
Opposite nines
The Ledges is schizophrenic - a front nine so simple it's almost boring, followed by a wild, roller coaster finishing loop. Currently, fescue grasses are being planted to give the fairways of the front nine more definition, so it will be interesting to see how much that improves the look and feel of that side.
The 12th hole reveals the red rock formations of Snow Canyon State Park to the right of the green. The par-4 13th crashes downhill, almost too recklessly that balls can't hold the green. The 14th and 15th are two good par 4s with desert hazards guarding their putting surfaces.
The clubhouse has a cozy 19th hole bar to watch the game, and a bigger restaurant that can be used for weddings and banquets. My burger at the turn was excellent, so the F&B seems to be on point. Rental homes in the neighborhood are perfect for foursomes looking for a stay-and-play.
The Ledges is a winner
This course is one of the best I have ever played. Some amazing views and pristine conditions especially on the back 9. The staff was very professional, friendly and welcoming. The course is not easy you better bring your A game. The course will challenge you but is well worth making the trip.
Ledges
Course great.
Staff great.
Amenities great. Have a BLT wrap.
Excellent course and friendly staff!
Great course with magnificent views. Superior customer service and friendly staff. From welcoming, checkin, to departure all staff were top notch!.
Course conditions and greens were outstanding. Only negative is the in cart GPS was not accurate nor calibrated to the correct pin placements. I had a laser so not a huge deal in my group. But the GPS feature would be nice.
Definitely a must play.
Awesome experience; great course
This was my first time playing this course, but I will definitely return; it is a challenging, strategic play course; the scenery is a desert course with gorgeous red bluff views on the back nine; I believe players of all skill levels would enjoy this course, but it may cause some headaches for beginners; the staff was very friendly, and the course was in excellent condition; I would recommend this course to all golfers if they are in the area.
Cold Morning / Frost Delay
Course plays at a higher altitidue but worthwhile to play when in the area. Keep in mind though the transition from 2nd to the 3rd hole, it can be easily missed.
Scenic Back 9
Very mundane front 9 with non receptive greens but the views on the back 9 were well worth the price of admission. Very friendly and informative staff. Would play again
Beautiful course
One of the must play courses in St George. Spectacular scenario, fun layout. Easy to go low here but if the wind is up easy to go high. Really hard to lose balls here. A great value for the cost and a fun round.
Always a favorite !
Wind came up this afternoon, making it a bit chilly. But always fun here with fast greens !
Back up a monster group after 9
Great Golf till Hole 10 ! Nowbody on Course ! After 9 they send a big Group making just the 9 Hols back in front us so we stoppt at 11 after waiting for 10 and11 55 minutes ! Bad managing !
Great
Attendants friendly and helpful. Played in the morning when it wasn't too hot. Course in good shape and fun.
Would return for a good deal.
Well Maintained, caution Wind
Awesome course, my 3rd time playing it. I would recommend playing this course in the morning or evening before the wind starts. Front 9 has a links feel and gets really windy and difficult to play in the afternoon. Back 9 doesn’t get as windy, but has much higher consequences of missing fairways compared to the front. Greens read true and often don’t break as much as it looks. The carts have range finders built in which is extremely helpful in knowing where to aim your tee shot on some blind shot holes. All in all, awesome course, beautiful design and difficult yet fair.
Great desert golf course with beautiful views. Friendly staff.
Fun Track
The first nine is pretty ordinary. (Relately flat and uninteresting). Then the back nine begins. Very scenic and interesting which makes for fun golf.
