Top 3 course
Top 3 course in southern Utah.
Been playing down here a couple of times a year for 20 years from SLC.
A few improvements
The course could use ball washers on tees or carts
Well kept course
Played it from the Whites. It wasn't that long and probably should have played from the Blue tees. Fairways were well kept, not too many dead spots. Well laid out, although there is a good distance between holes 11 to 12 and again from 17 to 18. Not that challenging, you can just let the ball fly from the tee box. even on the shorter par 4's it really doesn't punish you or force you to lay up. You can go for most par 4's with a driver without worrying about OB or traps. In fact, some of them you're better off hitting driver into a 308 yd Par 4.
Barternders and Wait Staff were bad
course is always fine, great time playing. The bartender was awful, literally ignored us for 20 minutes or so and was annoyed when we tried to get her attention for a drink. Ended up just not getting one and walking out.
The service in the restaurant was painfully slow. They forgot our drinks there and blamed it on a "busy" bar, when the people next to us walking in 15-20 minutes after we did and got their drinks, lol, not to mention that there were like 10 people in the entire place, so I'm not sure what they were busy with.
Good course though.
Spectacular scenery!
Lovely course with challenging greens. Back nine scenery is gorgeous! We loved our day here!
Nice Course Layout in Great Condition
Had a very nice afternoon at The Ledges. No complaints other than 4:50 pace of play.
Not enough bang for the buck
We wanted to do something special on our last day of vacation. We chose The Ledges because it looked outstanding on their website. Well, looks can be deceiving. The facilities are nice, the practice area is good, the staff is very friendly, the layout is outstanding. The course conditions were horrible. Bare patches all over the fairways and greens. The grass that was there was good, there just wasn’t enough of it. Very disappointed with the course.
Fairways and greens are rough
Disappointed with the condition of the course. There are too many bare spots on the fairways and the greens are the same way.
mesquite golfer
The course was in terrible shape,
Fairways were damaged and had to putt across damaged greens.
The fee they are charging is to much for the condition the course is in.
Fairways in rough shape
When I hit fairways it was a 50/50 chance of a poor lie. Most courses have fairway issues due to the drought.
Summer fun
Ledges was a great course. A few dry patches in the fairways and the greens had been punched and neither were a problem. Loved the layout and the fairways were quite generous. Pace of play was perfect. I will definitely play here again.
Course is very player friendly, wide fairways and greens were in excellent condition.
Ledges Golf
The course was great and our 4-some had a great time. The unfortunate thing is that the course kept sending out 2-somes after our group of 4 people. This made it difficult for our group to play because we were trying to play fast and let groups play through as often as we could without slowing our round down. Not sure why the starter was doing this but I will think twice about plying the course again.
