I love this course
I'm from Cincinnati but when I'm traveling through Indiana, I love to play this course. I can't say enough good things about it. The course is beautifully maintained. Greens are in fantastic condition. The surroundings are beautiful. Even the golf carts have GPS. Go play here if you get a chance.
Wonderful time!!
It was a truly Indian summer day. 70's. Course was in wonderful shape and groomed well. Always a bit challenging. Only issue was a lot of twosomes wanting to play through our foursome. I think there were 8 of them, which made our round a little slow waiting for them to go on through. Otherwise, a great day of golf on a beautiful course.
No such thing as a bad day on this course
For a fall day, the weather and the course were astounding. My companion and I had a spectacular day. As is always my case, there were some holes I had tremendous difficulty on, but that is par for the course. I highly recommend if you haven't played this course do so.
Top course in Indiana
The best of the best at coyote, greens are always in tip top shape and the grounds crew is working non stop to keep the course at its very best
Wonderful course
Lovely course with diversity. Course in great shape for this late in season. Great pace of play. One of our favorite courses in Indiana
This course is so great.
This has great course and good maintenance. I love coyote.
Not worth the money
Met my son who is a Purdue student to play. Greens were very average. Hard as a rock. Spent 50 a person to play. Alot better courses for that kind of price tag. Kinda boring.
Great course
Very challenging Great layout and in great condition.
A great time
Coyote Crossing made a great first impression. The drive in is awesome and the practice facilities/clubhouse are fabulous. However, the golf course was rather...interesting.
The greens were pretty spongy and the approaches were as long if not longer than the fairway, and I landed in an unfilled semi-deep divot in the middle of the 11th fairway..
The layout favored a shorter hitter. I didn't need a driver anywhere except the par fives and maybe 2 par fours. It was a target golf course more than anything. So shorter more accurate hitters will eat this place alive.
I recommend playing here if you haven't played it before, but I think this course is maybe a once a year course for me, especially for $60.
Friday Hookey Round
As always, great experience. Only negative is the food. Doesn't match quality of the course.
Great course but hampered by slow play
My buddy and I heard about the great value at Coyote Crossing. So, we made the drive from Indianapolis to Lafayette to play. While the course layout and conditions were fantastic. We were seriously disappointed by the pace of play. We were waiting forever in between holes. There was no marshal in sight managing the pace of play. We made the turn and another group jumped in front of us at 10, which made it even slower. Not sure if they had lunch and then jumped in between us and the group in front of us coming off the front. Regardless it was very disappointing. Also, there was not anyone on the course from a beverage standpoint. Along with no drinking water anywhere on the course. It was a warm sunny day in Lafayette and your only option was to load up at the start (which playing for the first time did not think we needed to) or have to wait for the turn and load up. The course itself was worth the value. however, the service was lackluster at best. We will come back at some point to give it another try only because of the course. However, i'm in no hurry to make the trip back due to the service.
Great course but stuck behind match play tourney
This course is great. I am not a single digit handicap so take that for what it is worth. There was a high school qualifier going off right before my tee time...these kids were walking and very serious, that translates to the longest round of my life!
Here is the thing though...I finished the round because I liked the course so much.
I really do not have a negative thing to say about it, other than maybe some more water options on the course as it was extremely hot and not a drink art to be seen and one of the fountains did not work.
I enjoyed the course and will certainly return.
Beautiful but very Challenging.
When we arrived, there was a high school sectional going on, but we still were able to tee off approximately on-time. We had to wait until carts became available. The course was in great shape, even following the sectional tournament. The staff were friendly even though they were extremely busy. Between the trees and the ditches filled with water, I lost quite a few balls, but that is my fault. We would like to go back again to play now that we know what the course is like.
Great course, nice layout.
Arrived at the course 20 min early. Gave us the cart key and told us to head for the 1st and we would be able to get off ahead of 3 3-somes. Course was full, but play kept moving. Beautiful day...GREAT course!
Good course
Good course, but I've never had a pleasurable experience with the pro shop staff. Lately, I've only been playing there when there's a Golf Now Hot Deal rate. This makes the course an excellent deal for the quality of the course. With that said, it feels the staff treats Golf Now users differently. Cold receptions, unfriendly attitudes, and a general indifference. Not a welcoming experience. But, the course was great as usual.
Great course and great shape
This is my second round at Coyote Crossing and both times it has been in great shape, always people working as well.... definitely one of my top 5 courses I have played in the midwest!!
Top course's
Great course, my favorite in the area. Scenic view, great staff and location
Quality for sure
The opportunity to play while traveling to Indianapolis from northern Indiana was the reason I selected this course. I had played it in the past but rediscovered why I enjoyed the course when my son was attending Purdue years back. The layout was beautiful and challenging and I had an opportunity to meet local friendly senior golfers along the way. I will return..
Beautiful Course
Awesome course. One of the prettiest courses I've ever played. Must go if possible
