Great value from Golf Now
I have refused to play this course for years because the green fees were too high for my skill level. Golf Now made this course more than affordable. The staff at the course was friendly and treated me as if I had paid full price. Highly recommend this course via Golf Now.
Great course...can't wait to get back!
Considering all of the rain in recent days, the course was in beautiful shape. It was cart path only the day we played. This made play a little slower than normal, but still better than walking only as was the case at some other local courses. Coyote has a great combination of long and short holes, strategically placed bunkers, and water hazards. I am a mid to high handicapper, it is a challenging course but not overwelmingly difficult. I will definitely play it again and again.
Wish it wasn't as Windy
So this was a visual treat. All the fairways were amazing and in great shape. I was referred to this one by a friend and a golf pro in Indy. They were right about it being a great course. The weather was a factor due to the fact that there was 25-30mph winds. (Kinda of brutal on my scorecard.) My only complaint about this course was the greens. They had apparently just laid down some fertilizer and it was sticking to the ball on ever putt. Also some of the back nine greens could have used some attention to clear the debris. I will definitely come back to give this course another shot when the wind isn't as bad and hopefully the greens haven't been freshly fertilized. Top notch course over all however.
Never heard a bad comment
It's the nicest course I know of under $65, and it's way under $65. Cart paths are somewhat strictly routed, but that's what keeps the course so nice
Course needs attention!
This used to be one of my favorite courses in the area but over the last 3 years has steadily declined. You can play for a decent amount, the layout itself is strong, but they don't seem to care about the conditions of the course itself.
Fairways need seeding. Greens need grooming. Sand traps need, well, sand. Bunkers are becoming harder and more dirt each year.
Sad to see this course slip!
Go play Kampen or Harrison Hills, or Rock Hollow if you can make the drive.
super nice!!!
Really nice course great layout very tough holes and can play as long as you want with 5 tee spots for your yardage pleasure.
Good course but didn't honor Golfnow rate
Course was in decent shape, but greens are sandy this time of year.
They REFUSED to honor the $35 golfnow.com price I got even when I showed it to them in writing. They insisted on charging us $40 because "their computer automatically updates". You have to honor something in writing period.
GLA Golf at it's best
This is one of the best courses in the Greater Lafayette Area (GLA). Within a reasonable distance you have Purdue's Kampen course, Harrison Hills in Attica, IN and a bit further you have Rock Hollow in Peru, IN. Coyote Crossing easily hob-nobs with these other great courses. If you have played any of them you won't be disappointed by this one.
Overall this is a really nice round of golf!
Has really gone downhill
Several times I have played this course this year and there has always been some type of issues, for the money this is no longer the best course in Lafayette. They have continuously overbooked tee times and the rangers do little to help unless your a member. I have seen a great depreciation in this course over the last couple of years and am at the point I wont even bother booking rounds here. Huge disappointment in the management also.
Nice Course, however...
This course really has seen a recent change for the worse.
Staff are very dismissive, make you feel like you are doing them a favor by being there. I had a GolfNow rate that wasn't honored, though GolfNow gave me the credit when I called.
When this course is in good shape (which is a hit or miss) and they honor your GolfNow rate this is a great place to play. Just beware that the staff (at least those in the pro-shop) are __ expletives__.
