Front 9 Needs Work on Greens and Tee Boxes
Front 9 Needs Work on Greens and Tee Boxes. Back 9 is much better. It's almost like two different grounds crews are used. #2 green has been diseased or dammged for several years.
Stay away from Saturday play
40 minutes late on starting; no carts.
10 to 15 wait on each and every hole.
Five greens still in healing process.
12:22 start time
6:25 finish. Almost dark
We were a threesome.
Tee boxes in good shape, fairways in better shape
Then most courses, saw several sizes alligators
Very clean and they take care on restrooms and Lake
Course
Greens
Your greens are getting worse every week starting lo look like Forest greens.
Fog Delay had the tee times stacked on the 1st hole but nobody can control the weather, Tee boxes and fairways are in good shape but enough of the greens need work that it should be mentioned. Greens roll fast but some of them have patches of dead spots and sand all over making it less than ideal. Round took 4 hours since we were able to skip ahead of the group in front of us at the turn or we would have been closer to 4 1/2-5 hours since too many people are playing from the tips when they should move up a set of tees.
mike
course in decent shape pace of play slow like them all this time of year worth playing for the money
Rough conditions. Not worth the price.
Greens were terrible . Especially not for the price they charge. $72 is highway robbery. The staff at the clubhouse didn’t even mention the rough conditions
Great layout. Tee boxes and greens in great condition, as was most of the course.
Phenomenal pro shop professionalism and friendliness.
My experience was a definite 5!
Not worth $65.00!
Fairways were not the greatest, greens were worse. Storm debris all over the place from trees.
Not a great experience
As bad as it gets
The Lakes is obviously having irrigation issues. Fairways were dead I’m many areas and several greens aren’t much better. In top of the poor conditions, they are WAY overpriced. It should be the cheapest course to play in the area right now but they are charging a premium. Just skip it.
Overcrowded
We had a 12:07 tee time, we arrived around 11:45 to find that the course was short on golf carts. Tee times were running about an hour behind. Once we teed off, front nine took three and a half hours. Thankfully, most players called it quits after 9, so the back nine was much more efficient.
The Lakes course has a great layout, was in good shape considering the amount of play the course is getting. Looks like the facility is in need of more golf carts to accommodate the number of players.
Overall, not disappointed with the experience, but witnessed numerous other golfers complaining and visibly upset.
