Holes 18
Par 71
Length 6711
Slope 126
Rating 72.1
Type Public/Resort
The lesser known of the two 18-hole courses at the Seaview is the Pines Course. It originally started as a nine-hole course but another nine-hole course was added later and the two courses were eventually combined to form the Pines Course. The course has a par of 71 and it is 6,731 yards from the back tees. Seaview's Pine Course doesn't provide scenic views but it does offer a good game. Some even prefer the Pines course because of its quiet location behind the resort's hotel and also because of its more challenging features. The golf course has tight fairways lined with trees, medium-sized greens that are undulating, and strategically placed bunkers.

Love to play this gem

I don't understand why the Pines course is the lesser of the 2 courses at Seaview. This course is more challenging, prettier, and more playable than its sister Bay Course. I love the layout and the greenhead flies aren't as bad as on the Bay. I try to play the Pines whenever I am in the area. A real treat!

Tight layout requires stricter maintenance

Course looks great from most tees. First time playing requires some research before teeing off, especially on the dog legs. Risk/Reward players should have a chance to understand the distances on the card before club selection. It’s ok to hit thru a blind dogleg, but the rough should be properly maintained to avoid wasted time searching for ball. Definitelya plus to have the pin placements identified in the car ts. The yardages were accurate but some of the forward tees weren’t fair from my observation. Staff was polite, practice facility was nice too. Par 3’s were set up ok, but well protected with sand bunkers to compensate. I would recommend playing but would suggest some local knowledge. Look forward to playing here again with some memory of those dogleg holes..

1st cut off fairway uncut for a week.

Fairways are narrow, but that has never been a problem in the past because the first cut off the fairways was wide and well groomed. Our round today was slow because it had been a week since mowing and our balls were difficult to find even though only a few inches off the fairway. Moreover, chipping on the sides of greens was also difficult and balls were hard to find within only inches of the green. We did have a wet week, but the course should have been mowed.
