Holes 18
Type Municipal
Par 71
Length 6412 yards
Slope 116
Rating 69.3
Located in Longmont, Coyote Creek Golf Course offers 6,412 yards of golf from its longest tees with a par of 71. Matt Eccles designed the course, which features several par-5 holes. The course is challenging but it is not so intense as to be off-putting to beginning, intermediate, or high handicap golfers. The course is well-bunkered with a few doglegs. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The well-maintained course has amazing views of the Rocky Mountains. Its quiet location guarantees a serene environment for golf and it is usually not very busy, making Coyote Creek Golf Course a popular choice for those who are fed up with crowded courses and having to make reservations far in advance.

Cold Day but Good Day

Another great day at Coyote Creek. A nice little gem outside of the big city. Always a good time, even in January the course is very playable. The clubhouse staff is always very friendly and they have everything you need. I always enjoy getting out to Coyote Creek. Had a first timer with me today and he really liked the course. Said the views were amazing and can’t wait to get back out in the spring and see it when it’s green. I let him know they have had it looking great last summer!

Nice course for the money

Good conditions with enough challenges but the pace was very slow until the rain started at about 13. People in front bailed so completed round at our pace.

Would go back for sure.

Worth the Drive

I drove out to Fort Lupton from Denver and overall it was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and professional. The course was in good shape, especially the greens. Would recommend it to a friend.

Pace of play was a little slow because it was men’s league and there was a delay because of morning frost. The weather was great and the conditions were pristine. Awesome course for the price!

Not in Kansas Anymore

Driving up from Denver, Fort Lupton is a solid hour drive...but we had a BOGO for Coyote Creek and wanted to give it a try...first the negatives: Long drive from city, your average municipal with a basic club house, spotty fairways, and some dead patches on the rough...oh, and check the forecast first, because it can blow out there! Windy!!! Now the good stuff: The staff is as friendly and helpful as can be! For golf courses, that can be rare. The pace was wide open...2 of us played in less than 3 hours on a Monday afternoon... and, MOST importantly...for a public course, the greens are excellent! They roll true, soft and receptive, and have a quick but fair speed to them! The rest of the course can be a rough around the edges, but the greens are great.

Fun day

Was able to get right on. Some brown patches in the fairways. But the rough was not to long and the greens were identical to some higher priced Golf courses, they were in awesome condition. I got done with my round in 3.5 hours. Excellent staff that told me before my round what to expect. No GPS here, so have a rangefinder with u. I highly recommend this course. Thank u CC for a great day.

Playing Coyote Creek

Coyote Creek is a very enjoyable course to play. At its various tees it will challenge you but also reward the well placed shot. The greens are in great shape with some yielding difficult pin placements. Nice affordable course. I will return.

Pretty straightforward course

Booked a Saturday afternoon, they just finished a morning outing, so barely anyone on the course. So pace was good. Course itself is not that hard, kind of flat, you can visualize most of the shots, nothing too baffling or imaginative. Course is not super long, rough was there but not difficult. Some of the shorter par 4's are not too hard. The par 5's are not super long either. Greens rolled nicely. Normally I play in the mid 80's, and I shot a 77 with not putting great. Kind of an average municipal course, not too hard.
