Fun Shorter Course
Really enjoyed my first round at Coyote Creek. This is a fun course that can really boost your ego if you need a pick me up. Get ready for lost of drivers and wedges. Only 6400 yards from the tips, there are quite a few short par 4s that will leave you chipping on your second shot. The par 5s are definitely gettable if you hit a good drive. Par 3s are a good mix of short to fairly long.
There are houses surrounding the course, but I never felt like the neighborhood encroached on the course too much. There is plenty of room to hit driver even if you are a little bit off target. Even though the course is fairly easy, there are a few ponds and tall native grass areas where you can get into some trouble.
The only issue with our round was pace. Ended up being near a 5 hour round.
With all of the rain we have had this year the course was playing soft, but all of the grass is in great shape. The greens are not very fast, but they are in good condition and roll pretty smooth.
I look forward to returning to Coyote Creek in the future.
Practice facilities are in poor condition. Tee boxes are in poor condition. Fairway are bare in spots, (considering the amount of rain).
Great Muni!
Coyote Creek is a pleasure. Staff is friendly, course is in good playing condition and improvements are on target to make a fun round even better. The greens played a bit slow but were in very good shape. I’ll be back!
Good local track, family-friendly course.
Good local track. Pretty flat. played in the morning and weather was perfect. Pace was not bad, foursomes moved along just fine. Not very challenging, and so good place for families, and folks looking for a fun time without a bunch of forced carries and frustration. I'd say the course starts out with a tough hole, just because it has hazard on both sides, and it's actually a pretty blind tee shot. If you haven't played there before it can be a bit confusing.
Overall, I would say $72 for a saturday morning round on a holiday weekend feels a little overpriced for this course. Greens were good, but the fairways were rough in some spots. But it's really about supply and demand. It can be tough to get a Saturday morning tee time in the Denver area these days!
Coyote Creek
Very enjoyable round at a super fun course. The course was is great shape even after the big storms that moved through the day before. Coyote Creek is always a great time and a joy to play.
The course was a great
Played the day after the course received 2” of rain. It was wet in some areas but played very well. Had a great time and experience.
Was a great course
Good course on a slow day, couldn’t have asked for more
Good value, fun layout
Good value compared to other courses in the region. Newly renovated cart paths are nice. Challenging but not too difficult for the average player. Pace of play is usually pretty good.
A Great Round
Overall course conditions and greens were good; pace a little slow, but a large men's club was playing. We had fun. Will definitely be back.
