Fantastic course. Played for $109 mid week. Well worth it. Tee to green all in perfect shape. No rough, just fairway and desert. Generous course. Not too hard. Would certainly play again
It sometimes rains in the desert
had a tee time yesterday but got rain off the course
Today we went off while it was slightly drizzling but the sun came out at 9
The pro shop staff are so sweet they gave us a blanket for the cart
Great 7HOUR Round
Course is obviously beautiful as one would recognize immediately upon pulling into the facility. However; the pace of play ruins the experience. Why pay 100+ to have a 7HOUR round-
Too many other options
Great course loud music
We played it several times yesterday behind 4 young men that hit the ball a mile in all directions but the middle never offered for our 2 some to play through, worst part playing loud music. Wonder what Greg Norman would have done. Bad end to our stay in Beautiful La Quinta.
Condition of the course was great. Some really long par 4’s. Over 450. A corse worth playing.
Great course conditions
Course was in great shape and reasonable pace of play 4hr 15 minutes
Good and well maintained course
the course lay-out is good, but a bit repetitive and the bushes in the native area too penalizing for shots that are just off the fairway. The maintenance was excellent and nothing to say about the pace of play.
Very enjoyable round
The course was in excellent condition. Rough is nonexistent, but desert conditions serve as the problem when one strays from the generous fairways. Lots of bunkers, so course management a must. Rather flat course, but lots of interest with water, bunkers, and topography. My group had fun and would play again.
Subtle greens running about 11
4 hour round
Beautiful and Tough
The course is absolutely beautiful. In excellent condition except we were not aware there were no carts allowed on the fairways because of over seeding. Made for a bit of walking although we were allowed to drive in the desert. This is one tough course and we are just average golfers. Staff was outstanding. Range and practice facilities very nice.
Great layout and condition, everyone friendly. Played with 2 very nice members, great day. Greens slower than normal, cartpath only as course recently reopened after overseeding. Will definitely return.
A pleasant afternoon of golf
I had high expectations of this course, and overall it delivered. The staff were extremely welcoming, the range was right by the pro shop and well stocked with balls, and the practice putting was right beside the first tee - all good indications that they have the golfer in mind. Played in 4.5 hours, which was longer than I expected based on other reviews. The greens were quite firm and ran very fast, which I liked, but they were also very spiked. The fairways were fairly tight, but most of them had hills on either side that funneled slightly miss-hit balls back into play. The carts included GPS and you could drive just about anywhere, which helped with yardages, and in those times when I hit it into the desert scrub, most of it was fairly clean between bushes, making it easy to find and hit your ball. I would recommend this course to others.
