About
Located on the shorefront of Southampton Parish, the Port Royal Golf Course is one of the most frequented public golf courses in Bermuda and it is even known as being one of Jack Nicklaus' favorites. Robert Trent Jones designed this 18-hole course, which hosts the Bermuda Open Championship every year. Doglegs and wind are just some of the factors that will challenge golfers on this course. The signature hole is the scenic and rather infamous 16th, situated precariously atop craggy cliffs that overlook the Atlantic Ocean. The hole requires a nearly perfect shot in order to reach the green. Port Royal Golf Course has garnered such a following that some golfers reserve starting time a year in advance.

Favorite Course in Bermuda
The course had upgraded since we played there last about 7 years ago. The conditions were great and the greens were moderately fast, which took a little getting used to. The staff were fabulous !! We rented clubs, which were nearly new Cobras. Love this course and parred the signature hole twice which added frosting on the cake ! The scenery is to die for....ocean views spectacular!!

Wonderful course that’s good value with Golf Now!
Good value for money as booked through Golf Now so got it for £50pp including buggy hire. Beautiful and interesting course, especially the iconic Par 3 16th with the tee shot over a sea ravine to the green. Well kept course although 19th hole felt dated and service very slow despite hardly any customers! Overall, one not to missed with its rich history and course layout

Great afternoon at Port Royal
Fabulous challenge at Port Royal. Only disappointment was greens had not fully recovered from aeration so bumpy, but wonderful layout with plenty of challenges and vistas.

Great Course - Friendly and Welcoming Staff
A good friend and I played the course and had a great time. The back nine views are spectacular. The greens were being aerated when we played and so that’s why I gave course conditions a 4 vs. a 5. We would definitely play here again.

Bermuda’s best course
Mid Ocean is comparable, but is a private course and doesn’t host a PGA tour stop. Golf where the pros play.
