Since opening in 2002, Tucker's Point Golf Club (formerly known as the Castle Harbour Golf Club) has received praise from several golf magazines with some touting it as some of the best golf course in the Caribbean. The course has undergone a few renovations to give it a more challenging layout that rivals the more widely known courses in Bermuda such as the Mid Ocean Club. Tucker's Point Golf Club is settled on a gently rolling landscape that has been finely manicured to equal the aesthetic standards of the high-end residences that border it. The scenic views that some holes offer, especially the par-4 17th, are also some of the most picturesque vistas that the island has to offer.

Tucker's

I played this course many years ago when it was still Castle Harbor. Very scenic and improved layout. Greens had just been aerated and sanded (too much), so the putting surface was not very good. I thought the rough was also cut a little too deep.

Beautiful scenery

The course was beautiful but the greens had just been airified. I wa booked through GolfNow.com to play on a Monday but the greens were being airified on Monday and Tuesday and I was never notified so after wasting $60 on a round-trip cab ride we played on Wednesday on the newly airified greens. Other than that the course was in excellent condition and quite challenging though not a long course. The views over the water were spectacular which really made the day. For $300 for my wife and I, it was definitely a disappointment.

Several blind spots and funky Bermuda grass.

Wide open course with deep greenside bunkers. Get familar with Bermuda grass before you play. It will save you several shots. Bring extra balls because grass eat balls. well styled Well worth rthe value

Beautiful Bermuda

My wife and I played here on a weekday midmorning. The weather report called for on and off rain and thunder, so the course wasn't really crowded. Got a great price via GolfNow at about 60% off. Totally worth it. Views are pretty spectacular on many of the holes. Course staff is awesome, facilities seem very nice. It is a little tough to figure out where you are on the course - their signage for the tees isn't great, so pay attention to the GPS in your cart. Doesn't seem like they pack in the tee times, so pace of play was fine until we ran into a slow inconsiderate twosome in front of us with a few holes to go. Greens in good shape - fast.

Bad greens for such an expensive course

Tucker's Point is in receivership and it shows. It is not quite as pristine as before and the greens are shocking for a course that charges top dollar. It is a nice lay out and the wind, as it did for us, provides a defence of par of some holes which would otherwise have few teeth. Get the GolfNow deal if you do come, but maybe wait until a new buyer pumps a bit of cash into course management first. Port Royal is a far better bet if you are limited to one round.

Great Experience

Booked on Golf Now. $150 afternoon rate included cart, balls, Gps. Beautiful course, excellent greens, great views and interesting holes. Was lucky enough to play with a father/son who were members and could advise where to aim, and helped on the greens as I don't usually play on Bermuda. Had an excellent round.

Great Bermuda Course

I've been playing golf in Bermuda in the late fall for the last few years. A must stop is Tucker's Point. Tuckers has a high end private club vibe with a very courteous staff.

The course itself is beautiful and isn't anywhere near as tight as Riddell's Bay or Belmont Hills. My brother and I found it to be in great shape. As with all Bermuda courses, stay out of the rough as it will eat you alive.

Great course, great views!

The course is excellent, the staff not so much.

I love the golf course, but the staff got upset when I presented them with the golf now price I was given when I booked. The staff member said "well we will honor that price this time but next time probably not". My advice to him was to take down the listing on golf now if he was going to refuse to honor golf now prices. The hotel and golf facilities are in bankruptcy now, so that may be why I got the attitude.

Scenic and Challenging

Many holes feature blind tee shots or second shots, so some guesing involved. Need to trust your GPS distances. Better golfers will likely enjoy Port Royal more due to its layout being less restricted by the terrain. Probably not worth the full price they ask so look for discounted possibilities.

Beautiful views, but windy!!!

Course and greens in great shape. Wind and blind tee shots made it difficult. Fore caddie would be only thing needed to make it a must round for any golfer

Don't overlook the Tucker's Point Club on Bermuda

Golfers visiting Bermuda usually have two destinations in mind, playing the top-100 Mid Ocean Club and the Port Royal Golf Club, host of the PGA Grand Slam of Golf, a televised exhibition showcasing the year's four major champions (or their subs).
Don't overlook Tucker's Point Club, a sporty resort course right next to a fabulous Rosewood hotel and Mid Ocean. Roger Rulewich redesigned the 6,491-yard course in 2002, altering the original Charles Banks design. Everybody takes a picture of the short par-4 17th hole overlooking Castle Harbour. It's why we love golf in Bermuda.

Great Course!

Prefer this course to Mid Ocean. Challenging course with picturesque views. Staff was more friendly than Mid Ocean and half the price!
Next time we get back to Bermuda, we will play this course at least twice

The course is not worth the price

I played on a Wednesday afternoon because I was not able to get a morning tee time, however when I arrived there was no one on the course. I was never told the greens had been recently airated so they were not rolling true. The overall condition of the course was good. The surrounding areas were breath taking but personally I would not play it again or recomend it to anyone especially becasue it is not worth $250.00. Play Port Royal. That is a great course and well worth the money.
