This was a great par 3! This is zoomed in so you dont quite get the percetion of the distance. A solid 175 or so, over water and well protected. Photo submitted by ThatGolfGuy on 09/26/2016

Looked beautiful on the website.
We were surprised to arrived at this course to find the pro shop in porto cabins. Not impressed by the 2 porto potties by the driving range if you wanted to use the bathroom before teeing off. The hotels have been under construction for over 5 years. Not at all what I expected from this course. The club house was a long way from the pro shop and parking which was limited. The course was stunning in many ways. We were paired with two single old men who were very unhappy a woman was in the foursome. It was the least fun game of golf I have enjoyed for a very long time and I play frequently. The construction on the course and the developers decision to make changes to the back nine made the 18th hole disappointing.
The course will be beautiful after it recovers from the seasonal maintenance and the extensive construction. Also, playing cart path only tarnished the experience. Probably should have postponed until another day.
Thanks so much for the review and feedback. We look forward to welcoming you back to our course soon. Thanks for choosing SilverRock Resort.

Too many bunkers, too much water.
Whole place is under construction with building 29 homes and 2 hotels in and around golf course. Course layout was in disarray and some holes were confusing to get around. Hopefully it will be better later in a day after constructions are done. Friendly staff.

Good course
Cart paths only but other than that a good day. The hot deal price made it worthwhile. I’ll come back at that rate. Probably not for the rack rate.

La Quinta Gem
First time playing this track, have so say it was great. Two weeks out of overseed, I thought it was in really good shape. It was CPO, and a Saturday, but even that said, pace was bearable. The resort is at least a year out, but it will be a great option in the La Quinta area when the Montage is completed.
Thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another great experience. Thanks for choosing SilverRock Resort.
Better than expected
Played here two years ago and wasn’t ready for how tough this course can be. We heard it was pretty beat up from their transition and the late summer storms but found the course more than playable. Greens were a little slow and some areas in the fairways were bare but over thought it was comparable to other courses we played (Stadium and Desert Willow) and the layout is great. Long from the tips (7250) but plays very fair. Got some revenge and had a fun time.

Still Recovering
The course is still recovering from the recent storms. Some wash areas are lakes, others are muddy and unaccessible. Due to this, I lost more balls than I ever have on this course. Thought it was a little pricey for conditions & time of year.
Hello, thank you for visiting us at SilverRock Resort. We appreciate your review and feedback. We hope you join us for another round soon.
We were rained out
Unfortunately for us the course was closed when we arrived Saturday morning. The torrential rains the night before had left standing water in several of the fairways. We were able to speak with the staff and they told us they were working on getting our money refunded. Our group of four had prepaid for the round.
We asked for a recommendation on other courses to play. They were very accommodating. We’ll be back one day to play.
Thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing SilverRock Resort.
The condition of the course was embarrassing. The fairways had more bare spots than grass. The layout was amazing, but the course was dismal. Our playing partners received full refunds just by asking.
Thank you for the review and comments regarding your round of golf at SilverRock. During this time of year, golf courses in the Coachella Valley go through a process called transition. This transition is the process where the cool season grass (over seeded) begins to fade out as the temperatures reach into the 100’s. As the cool season grass fades, the Bermuda grass (warm season base grass) remerges. This process of warm season grass filling in where the cool season grass fades away is called transition. At SilverRock, this transition usually begins in June and typically (depending upon weather conditions) by the end of August, the course will have completely transitioned. We recognize the turf conditions may not be prime during this time and as a result green fee rates are reduced significantly. It's important to note, the golf course is not diseased nor neglected, this is a normal process and occurs every summer. Again, thank you for taking to time to provide feedback and we hope to see you back at the Rock!
Poor course
Worst course I’ve ever played! Conditions worst I’ve ever seen and charged for! Never again to Silverrock!!!

Very rough shape
Worst course I ever played! Took son out for round to find golf course unplayable! Fairways and greens in horrible shape. Mud patch’s,dead fairways and greens. Played another local course that was 100% better and cheaper. Never again to Silverrock!

Horrible Greens
Love the layout of the course and very scenic. But on the other hand the greens are in awe full shape and charging what they are charging is unacceptable in my opinion.

Didnt actually play
Driving up to facility you can see course is in tough condition. Staff at facility said front 9 all looks like this and back nine is a little better. Canceled at pro shop and booked elsewhere

Bad condition
A local told me that it was the worst condition he had ever seen. I feel like they are working on it and will get it back.
