Great Day at Twin Bridges
Was visiting in the area and booked a last minute Hot Deal and had a great day on the course. I booked as a single and when I got to the course I was asked if I wanted to join up with 3 others. I could not have asked for a better result. The course was a little wet but otherwise in good condition. The pace of play was perfect, no waiting and didn't feel pushed at all. The other players were awesome, friendly and very knowledgeable.
I will definitely be playing this course again when I am back in the area.
Staff rushed us to get off the course in sub 4 hour round
Played a round on Saturday morning, our foursome played best ball 2 on 2. Teed off at 8am and finished at 11:45, that's a 3 hour and 45 minute round and the clueless Marshall had the audacity to come up and tell us we were dragging on the 15th hole. Once again we played 18 in 3 hours and 45 minutes. Good thing he told the other two in my foursome because I would have told him to take his clipboard and shove it where the sun doesn't shine. Then, when we finished there were several employees standing by our carts as we unloaded, not offering assistance but they did tell us they had no carts left and were waiting on those. How about you get it together and buy enough carts before you send some goofy old man out to tell us we are dragging in our sub 4 hour round. We had planned on playing another round there that afternoon but went back to Cider Ridge which we had played the day before, great course and staff there. Twin Bridges is only concerned with taking your money and rushing you off the course as quickly as possible.
Fun golf course
To windy I left after 9 holes. I played for 18 holes.
Fairway were bare "No grass". Greens were nice. Tee box was nice. Sand bunkers were nice.
I live on a golf course in Albertville Al
Course has a fun layout
I’ve played Twin Bridges several times. I’ve always enjoyed it. The staff is great and the course layout is nice also. There are some challenging holes but overall, if you can drive the ball accurately, you’ll have plenty of scoring opportunities. The greens were very firm on this visit and the course seemed a little dried out from tee to green. Also, there is a low ball tournament on Tuesday mornings so keep that in mind when you book a tee time. We had to start on the back 9 because so many groups were lined up to go off the front even though we had booked a tee time and the groups started going off 30+ minutes before our start time.
March Golf
The course was very challenging, but we also golfed a little early for the year. I want to go back when the fairways are green. Over all I think it’s a very nice course.
Nice course
Really enjoyed the course. We’ve had a lot of rain and it showed. Greens had some rough spots but played well. There was a group of 3 seniors (I’m 62) who took forever in front of us. At one point, it took 20 minutes to play one hole. There were two more groups on the tee behind us. We finally went around and came back to finish the front at the end.
Excellent challenging course
The pace of play was fairly slow due to a large number elderly groups ahead of us. The course was in excell2nt shape for the off season. Greens were in decent shape. Course can be very challenging due to the wind and water hazards on almost every hole. Beautiful location and excellent staff.
Great Value
We were able to get a Hot Deal for $21. I didn't really expect much since we got such a cheap deal, but this course was worth every dollar and more. It really shocked us at how nice the course was. I loved the layout. I would pay twice as much to play there.
Staff Killed my round
Scheduled on golnow.com as a single. Could not play more than 4 hours due to previous appointment. I knew I would play all I could al leave. After checking in at proshop i was told go down to the driving range and pair up with another single if i wanted to otherwise it was going to be really slow. Loaded my cart and drove down, introduced myself and we paired up to play. Gentleman had his own cart. Starter was not at the 1st tee for time, box was open and no one was waiting. We tee'd off and played. In the middle of 4th hole the ranger came around and told us we could not use separate carts!!! I told him we both were singles through online booking and did not know one another. The other golfer was equally disturbed. After several minutes and him telling us to pick a cart and he was coming back to get the cart we would leave because "the did not allow pairs to use single carts" course rules, we combined our carts. After catching the group in front of us after 6 holes we noticed a foursome with 3 carts! Now this ranger had driven by us and them several times before I stopped him and told him I disappointed myself and the other gentleman was that he forced us on one cart and said nothing to the group in front of us with 3 carts and 4 golfers. He said he was sorry but did not notice the had 3 carts!!! You're the ranger, how in the ham sandwich can you not see 3 (three) carts!!!! He turned around as if he was going to say something to them but drove right in by. This ranger avoided us the remainder of the round until the gentleman I was playing with was forced to pause his round to drive me back to the clubhouse because I had to leave. Twin Bridges Gadsden AL provided me with the worse golf outting due to staff ever!!!! I will never recommend this course due to this ranger.

Orlando, FL
Bent grass greens are surviving the heat. They've been taking on a tad too much rain. Still excellent greens to go right at stick with approach shot. Holds shots extremely well & they aren't ridiculously fast to putt on.
Bent grass greens are trying to hang in there, but the heat is beginning to take its toll. Still holds shots well, thougn, and they're not as fast as most bent grass greens (which I happen to like).
Fairways have been cut narrow, with a deep first--cut rough. Makes it hard to find your ball if you miss the fairway by only inches.
Overall, it's a nice Municipal Course with the Coosa River winding its way throughout. Stay hydrated!
Fun Fun Course
Beautiful course with ample fairways, risk/reward holes and wonderfully maintained. Highly suggest playing here, you won't be disappointed.
The staff was very friendly and and went out of their way to get us teed off in a timely manner. The grill had a good selection of food and their $3 bloody mary special was outstanding. The course was in good shape and evidence of improvements such as weed control and fresh sod being laid was everywhere. I enjoyed my round and plan on returning soon.
Becoming one of my favorites
Lot of improvements seem to be getting better every time we play. Staff was friendly. I believed they now have yardage books. Nice place for the money.
The Best course in Gadsden!!
Great fairways the greens are awsome. You need to play this one!
