Solo play
I played this course very early so I didn’t see anyone at the pro shop so I can’t comment about the staff but the course was excellent. It was in very good condition. The greens were soft but had challenging lines. All and all very good morning out. I will be back
A wee gem
Short course by today’s standards but as an old course it was in great condition. You still had to plot your way around the course to score well. Fairways were excellent and nice to see a course where divots had been over seeded by the ground staff.
Pro shop and clubhouse staff friendly and helpful. Good value and I would thoroughly recommend playing the course.
Course in great condition.
First time I played here and will hopefully return. Course was well looked after and grass cut short around trees which meant lower scoring as wayward shots were not severely punished. Facilities were very good and staff friendly and helpful. Good value for money at £30 for the round at midday.
Very enjoyable round.
The course is very similar to my own , I liked the Greens and the fairways are in great order , I will be back at sometime, would recommend it totel value for Money.
Great Track
Beautiful mature trees line generous fairways. Stay out of the Bunkers, and hit fade on 8 off the tee. Very enjoyable round of golf.
Fantastic Course
Played Inverurie today and it was fantastic. The fairways and greens were immaculate.. Course was in great condition can’t wait to play again.
Much better than expected
First time playing and was good fun with some interesting holes with a lot of risk / reward.
Course is on the shorter side but bunkers are well positioned as were a lot of the pins to protect its short length. Quite open on the front 9 but a lot of semi-blind tee shots, gets a bit tighter on the back 9 and 3 strong holes to finish with needing both length and accuracy.
I thought the condition was excellent and well presented.
Would be a good option for group 2 rounder
Misleading booking
Unlike other courses I have seen on GolfNow where you receive a pop up message prior to booking informing you if the course is not playing to full standard (i.e on winter set up/mats in use, etc, etc) there was no pop up message for Inverurie. From this, I assumed I would be playing the full course. Unfortunately, the course was on winter tees, utilised some winter greens and mats were in use. The winter tees are mats, some randomly positioned on cart paths.
Considering they were charging the same rates as I payed back in summer to play the full course, I wasn’t too impressed.
The welcome I received upon arrival in the pro shop was also very lacklustre and uninviting.
One positive was the summer greens I did play on were in good condition.
To sum up, I will be playing on alternative courses in the future.
