The Muir of Ord Golf Club
About
Architect James Braid originally designed a nine-hole golf course at Muir of Ord Golf Club, but it's since been extended to 18. Today Muir of Ord is a heathland course with snug fairways and difficult greens that demand accuracy.
The club is open to visitors, and the facility includes a bar and changing rooms. Clubs are available for rent.
For golfers looking to do a little warm-up before their round, there's a practice area and putting green.

Best of Ord
Played this course twice last year.
Couldn't wait to play it again and was not disappointed. Staff were very nice and had a great game on a great course. Well laid out and some great feature holes. A joy to play here.
Will be back soon.
Lovely Course
Random find on a business trip, lovely course, members and staff, will be back.
Hidden gem
This is a stunning course and well worth a go if you are in the area. Some fabulous views and the signature holes were good fun.
Staff in the clubhouse are very friendly and helpful and any locals were welcoming.

Unforgettable round
Even though rain spells three times during the round, we enjoyed playing in real scotch views of sunny. The course layout and the course conditions were good.
Slow Play Ruined It
The two guys in front of me had 3 chances to either let me join them or let me play through and didnt offer. There was nothing in front of them and took an absolute age on the tee. Ended up walking off after the 13th. Course was nice enough. Greens were good. lovely views.
Fantastic views while playing greens true with some different holes bunkers in the first few are challenging positions
The staff were so friendly and the shop gives range of merchandise well priced. The bar staff and food was excellent for the price, left smiling
Highly recommend. Gerry in the pro shop took the time to explain the layout and offer advice- a very friendly welcome. Course condition was excellent and it was fun to play, with a good variety of holes and some great views of the surrounding countryside from the middle section of the course.Would play again.
