Good for me
I learned to play golf here. After moving up in clubs and practice (makes perfect) the course is still a challenge on some of the holes. But they move things around enough to keep it interesting. For me it's a great place. But I've only played two other courses. I want to get out and play others that's why I have joined here. If you are not in shape don't walk it hole 4 can be a killer.
Playing the old stomping grounds!
This is where I learned how to play the game. I was involved in the Junior Camp years ago and was looking to relive some of the glory years. My wife, being a newer golfer, had to experience one of the courses I grew up on.
So, we were greeted by a friendly staff that accommodated us in a very professional manner. A few quick putts on the practice green for speed and it was off. The course was in great shape. Greens rolled fairly fast but not over the top. It was fairly open as we played later in the day.
All in all, we enjoyed our trip. It's a must if you are a true golfer. Makes you think about your shots with some of the "newer" holes on the back 40.
Good value for the money.
More of a modestly hilly, Hacker type course than a PGA Tour type course, but fun to play.
A few relatively easy holes, but also a few memorable and enjoyably challenging holes-the kind that keep you coming back, not the type that scare you away.
Built on an old farm including a barn shaped club house.
