Alderbrook Golf Club
About
Alderbrook Golf & Yacht Club is consistently ranked as one of the top 25 courses in the Pacific Northwest. The course is known for being one of the most scenic in Washington as well as one of the most playable. Though it's member owned, it's open to the public. Throughout the course you'll enjoy incredible views of the Hood Canal and Olympic Mountains. The layout is challenging but fair, offering a test of your skills without being overly punishing. Rolling fairways are lined with mature Evergreen trees and the large, fast greens make pin placement a challenge. The front nine is fairly tight but the golf course opens up on the back nine. Alderbrook's final hole is the layout's most memorable. Scoring par on this double-dogleg par 5 is something to be very proud of.

the course was immaculate and the staff was very friendly and professional
I can't believe it was 25 dollars with Cart. I've played courses that 6 or 7 times more and not even half as nice as alderbrook on top of all that the friendliest staff you'll ever meet. I will be back many times more in the future and will recommend this course to everyone. Thanks again to the staff of alder brook for a great experience

A must play
Overall a very nice layout good views and well kept!!! It's a must play and for 20 with a cart it's hard to beat!!!!!
NICE DAY
Front 9 are fairly tight but opens up on the back 9. The large practice green was really rough but the actual course had excellent greens. Interesting 18 with a parascope. Saw two deer foraging. Paired up with another guy and his wife, awesome couple.
Beautiful course
An absolute beautiful day out for golfing. Amazing scenery and very friendly people.
A Beautiful Day at Alderbrook
Just an outstanding day at Alderbrook. Played golf with my son, brother Ed and friend Rick. Really a postcard day at Hood Canal. The course was in beautiful condition. Great reception at the clubhouse and useful practice facilities. Just outstanding...
the views were great
the course has a lot of very challenging hole also a lot of great views of the course
jamman
Great course. played this course last year and was the only golfer on the course even though it was 75° and sunny. This time was alittle busier but still was a good pace. Loved the view and the course was in great condition for early Great Northwest spring.
course is very dry for this time of year and it's location hadn't
Hadn't played here in years, lot of improvements, trees cut down for sunlight and wind to hit the course and aid in drying it out. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
First time
I was very impressed with the course condition , fairways are manicured and greens roll true when putting. A great deal for the quality of this golf course.
Double dogleg!
Front 9 tight, demands course management. Back 9 fun, can let it loose, enjoy the quirkiness of a double dogleg par 5. Take in the scenic drive to Union you won't be disappointed.
Good scoring course
Great views, challenging yet still able to make par or better!
Very nice facility
This is a very nice golf course with excellent facilities and is a very good value for your money. Does have out of bounds left and right on most holes, but is fair enough if you don't spray your drives too much.
If you like white stakes this is your course!
Short course, narrow with way too much out of bounds. Very close to much better options...Gold Mountain (both courses) and Trophy Lakes.
A good time at Alderbrook Golf Course
My wife and I had a great time playing golf at Alderbrook. The course is in good condition for this time of year, speed of play was great about 3.5 hours walking, and the facility is very nice. Note, we both wish we could have golfed better but that's not the courses fault !
It Rained, but it was FUN!
Living in the PNW we knew we'd run into a bit of rain this day.... ok, it ended up raining quite a bit! The weatherman had it wrong as the rain came earlier in the day than expected but hey, this is the second half of October! We came prepared, rain gear, boots, etc. played all 18 holes. Rain or shine, this is a beautiful course & community! The Proshop staff, as well as the dining staff, were terrific. This wasn't our first time playing and won't be our last. Highly recommend playing here... rain or shine.
Very Nice Golf
We had a fantastic time. All staff were friendly and helpful. Course was in very good condition and the weather was great. We got done golfing a little before 6pm and found the Pro-shop closed as we were planning on purchasing some clothing we spotted on the way in that was very nice at a great price. Had dinner after at the Alderbrook Yacht Club. The meal was exceptional. But beware the food is a little expensive but well worth it.
Beautiful views
It was a nice fall day. Got paired with a member. Course greens had been plugged earlier, but played nicely. A lot of debris from plugs around the greens, and a lot of sand. Otherwise, course was in nice shape.
Beautiful Saturday morning
Our twosome was one of the first off the tee 7:30am, in this beautiful setting on an excellent course feeling we got a great value. No one following close the entire round. Coming back again.
Great price and views of Hood Canal and the Olympic Mtns.
Course had recently been aerated, but it played well. Pressure was light and it had green fairways throughout. Carts had to play 90 degree angle and cart path on all par 3s. Wide fairways took the trees mostly out of play.
Nice course but not anything special
We picked Alderbrook because of the high Golf Now rating and a great online rate. The course was in nice shape, but it was not an "interesting" or challenging course. The greens were very tricky, I will say. Hats off to their clubhouse.....delicious food and reasonable price!
