Dunnikier Park Golf Club
About
Dunnikier Park Golf Club is an 18-hole course located in Kirkcaldy, Scotland, 30 miles north of Edinburgh and 20 miles south of St. Andrews. Formed in 1963, the golf course has evolved over the years.
Dunnikier is 6,546 yards with a par of 72. The Lomond Hills serve as a backdrop on several holes, providing a stunning view. The front nine is in secluded woodland, while the back nine gets you out into civilization.
Dunnikier Park Golf Club's signature hole is No. 7, called "The Dip," a 368-yard par 4. The fairway disappears into a dip and then rises to the green. It's not just challenging, it's the best looking hole, too. It doesn't get much easier on No. 8, named "The Deception." The 383-yard par 4 is uphill all the way. Avoid the fairway bunkers with your drive then carry over the bunkers protecting the green.
No. 9 and 12 are two of the four par 5s and the two longest holes. Nine is 547 yards. Hit just an average tee shot, and you are in good position for a second shot over the hill. Twelve is monstrous at 597 yards. If you play off the "Tiger Tee," it's a ridiculous 650-yard hole. Make sure you hit if long, though. If your drive is short, you might not even make it to the ladies tee, the hole is THAT long.
A major extension and refurbishment was carried out to the clubhouse in 2001. It was upgraded to modern standards. New locker rooms and visitor changing facilities were added. The main lounge can seat over 100 guests, and dress is casual except for Saturday nights when there is a strict dress code after 8 p.m.
Kirkcaldy is one of the largest towns in Fife and has a history of tourism. Visitors are always welcomed at the club.

Great Value for Money
As a Council owned course it is one of the best kept and challenging. Well worth the rate paid. The clubhouse was also friendly with good food.
A lovely parkland course
Thoroughly enjoyed this well layed out parkland course. A good variety of holes with fairly wide tree lined fairways. Excellent value for money, run by the Fyfe golf trust.
Great course
Played at this course a few times and staff are very friendly and helpful, course conditions have been well kept with a brilliant practice area too.
Great value
At £13 this was a great deal. Course was in good condition for April. Good variety in length of holes and some very good par 3s.
Would definitely return.
Pleasantly surprised
Had been told good things about Dunnikier Park but had never gotten around to teeing it up, arrived at the course and spoke to the starter in the shop (Sorry didn't get his name) he was pleasant, friendly and very professional. He pointed me in the direction of the 1st tee and off I went. I picked the windiest day of the year by far! 50 mph winds which made it a big test of golf! There were a good number of winter greens and I had to play off winter tees too which I hate but I know they're required. I liked the layout of the course but would love to play it in the summer in true conditions. Very good value for money and overall I really enjoyed my day, shot 9 over par which I was happy with giving weather conditions! Can't wait to be back, although I'll check the weather forecast beforehand 😁
Winter @Dunnikier
Cracking course. Great layout. Probably the best of all the Fife Trust courses. Course condition was as expected at this time of year. Bit soggy underfoot and a few winter greens being used. This did not bother us at all. Still a great course to play.
Great Layout
Brilliant golf course and very good layout, lots of various holes and it has improved massively since playing it many years ago, only slight downside was the greens had only just recently been cored which every golf course has to do at this time of year,I would highly recommend this course to anyone as it's great value for the money
Great course
Had a great day playing here with friends. Beautiful course in great condition. Clubhouse excellent too
Great golf at Dunnikier
Had a really enjoyable round of golf, the course is in good condition bearing in mind the we are just coming out of winter and into spring. The weather was great but did not improve my game any. Highly recommend giving the course a go
Really Good condition
Played the course late in the day, the course was in excellent condition considering it had been raining for about 4 days during the week
Greens were receptive but rolled well and at a nice pace, the layout of this course is one of the best in fife
with some really nice challenging holes.
Will be back soon as I thoroughly enjoyed the round
