Drumoig Golf Hotel sprawls across 250 acres of rolling countryside inhabited by a variety of different birds and wildlife. The dramatic landscape provides the course with plenty of loch-side fairways and quarry greens. The lochs come into play on three holes, most notably on the challenging par-3 ninth. The difficult tee shot is followed by a tricky shot over the loch in order to reach the green. More advanced golfers will find the back tees provide a good challenge while the front tees are better for beginners. Golfers will also enjoy the views that stretch past St. Andrews Bay and the River Tay to Dundee and Carnoustie. The par-5 fifth is the signature hole of the golf course. The hole, which often plays into prevailing wind, requires a strong drive and a long iron to reach the narrow opening to the green.

Superb Condition

I've played Drumoig a few times and never been let down with the condition, for the end of February course, greens and bunkers in superb condition. Also had decent weather that helps but great to play full course no mats and full greens. They have made some changes on the course since I last played and and there looks like a new tee and green for the 16th downhill par 3 that looks amazing will definitely be back to play this super course again.

Outstanding Quality.

Travelled up from Glasgow to play this splendid course.
Totally worth the drive.
If you use GN a-lot you will struggle to find a better course than this for value, layout , quirkiness and features.
Water holes a-lot of fun.
Will defo return.

Great course pity about?

The coarse as ever was in excellent condition the par 3 mats were slippery and 4 balls held us up at least 1hr, please advise 4 balls as to the coarse etiquette as I think it has been forgotten we had at least 5 chances to get let through but were offered none.

Best deal for winter golf

Full greens and no fairway matts in January is always a win. The course is in excellent condition and I can't wait to play it again.

Fantastic value winter golf

Course was unbelievable given the recent weather, very little standing water apart from the 5th which the helpful starter informed us of. Greens hadn’t been cut understandably because of the rain, but still ran well. Holes 9-11 are great, but enjoyed the variety across the whole course. For £20 it was an absolute bargain. Will be back!

Drumoig golf club

I played this course for the 4th time and evertime i play it it just seems to get better everytime . I am impressed by what they have done to th 18th hole which has made the hole more a pleasure to play . This course will challenge your golf with the long par 5s . I was pleasently surprised how well the course was playing after all the rain then some freeze overs but i just cant fauld the green staff for the way they are keeping this course a pleasure to play . If you want great value for your money then this is the course to play well worth every penny . Ive also stayes in the b&b here whilst playing golf and the rooms are very well kept and clean it is just a great all round experience for all golfers . O and there was no winter greens .

Excellent course, well maintained.

My friend and I played Drumoing on Sunday 1st Oct. We really enjoyed everything about the course from the variety of clubs required, how well kept the course was, the varying challenge and lastly the very scenic 9th, 10th and 11th holes. I would definitely recommend playing here to anyone who enjoys golf however I would advise playing during the week as when we played on Sunday afternoon we caught upto the group in front of us 4/5 times and were talking to them as they were waiting on the groups infront of them. I don’t usually play Sundays due to work commitments so maybe this is normal but if you want to get round in a decent time of 3/3 and a half hours I’d recommend playing during the week. Other than that, amazing course, thanks Drumoig for the experience.

Stunning Drumoig

Course was in superb condition, especially the greens. Challenging but fair course. Large group in front held us up for first few holes - perhaps if they’d had a couple fewer pints before their 11am tee off they’d have lost fewer balls.

Never disappoints

My third time play here and I would definitely recommend it. Great Value for the money and a fun track with some very interesting holes. The hospitality was wonderful, we were joined by a couple of member and they couldn’t have been more enjoyable to play with.Great choice when you need a break from the wind and cold of links courses. We liked that they had buggies too. No clubhouse selling Drumoig logo gear.

The course was in great condition, the holes interesting and challenging. Some of the views, especially round the lake, were amazing. The coffee and cake afterwards was good value and the whole experience added up to a great day out.

Great course

This is a great course in great condition in a great landscape.
Beautiful views of the country side from most holes, especially the 9th.
The turn can easily destroy your card, or make it, just make sure your ball stays dry.
Can't wait to play it again.
