Deer Park Golf and Country Club
About
Deer Park Golf and Country Club, considered among Central Scotland's top golf courses, offers a 6,727-yard course that has hosted British Open Qualifiers as well as the Scottish PGA Championship. Facilities include range, putting green, pro shop, showers, locker rooms. Deer Park has earned its rep in the Scottish golf world.
Deer Park Golf and Country Club spans natural parkland. It's a relatively new golf course despite its honors. Peter Allis, Dave Thomas and Peter Clark designed it in 1978. It quickly ascended the Scottish ranks, especially when compared to the century-plus-old courses that fill Scotland.
Deer Park Golf and Country Club offers a whole day's activities, with a health-and-fitness center, 10-pin bowling, bars and restaurants - even weddings, if you want to fit one in between rounds.

Great day out
Fantastic round. Course was in great condition and the greens were some of the best I’d seen. There was a barbecue taking place when we came off and all staff and other golfers were extremely friendly. Have played the course a number of times now and never disappointed. Very enjoyable course layout as well as a high handicap golfer (1 year into golf with mid 20’s handicap)
Day out
Staff were great helpful polite well looked after definitely play again
Great condition
Considering the heavy rainfall from the day before, have to say the course was in great condition. Impressed by the greens. Think slightly too expensive, if it was £10 cheaper I’d be back in a heartbeat. Overall thumbs up for me.
A golf course for everyone
Very friendly staff and a wonderfully conditionex golf course to suit all levels. Highly recommendex
Not bad for winter conditions
Course was nice but I'm sure would be best played in the summer months off regular tees and to the actual greens. Really enjoyed it and will be back.
Wonderful course
Played today as a single player and was met by a friendly team within the clubhouse bar where I found a good value coffee and bacon roll ( 4 slices of bacon! ) . Albeit I have played the course I was impressed with the conditions given the time of year. Iain the PGA pro was polite, helpful and welcoming. All greens in play apart from two temp winter greens. Excellent playing surfaces and flat well defined fairways. Being dog friendly is a big bonus and made the round very enjoyable. Highly recommend this course and clubhouse and if the conditions in mid November are anything to go by the course will be fantastic in summer.
Great day out
Thoroughly enjoyed my first outing at Deer Park the layout was challenging at times and the overall condition of the fairways was great. The only downside was the greens had been hollow timed and we were not informed. Made for a very frustrating time when it came to putting. Would not have booked if I known about the hollow timed greens.
Will however be back when the greens are up to standard.
Deer park gc
Good course generally in very good condition only fault would be the greens although a nice surface were slow to putt on
Amenities are top class well worth a visit
A Nice Course
Have played here a few times over years. Course has matured well and was in really good condition.
Worth a trip to play.
