Frozen greens
A day in the 30''s so long drives running out to 300 yds and approach shots bouncing off frozen greens.
Need a lot of work. Some holes need to repair greens.
Fairways were much more worst. Water pipes were explored and fairway was wet sticky situation. If I paid more than $35 by TeeOff, I really regretted that. Fortunately I paid reasonable cost for playing this course. Do not waste your money when it’s over $50.
Conditions are appalling
Tee boxes were literally just dirt. The “fairway” was the same cut as the rough. The greens looked more like browns. It seems that they’re are redoing the cart paths instead of putting money into the condition of the course. This course is outrageously overpriced. I understand it’s the end of the season but the condition of the course is not worth the $60-$70. This course is in dire need of a renovation and proper groundskeeper.
Course Conditions Lacking
'Greens' were more like 'browns'; fairways were more like rough, tee boxes bumpy.
The only work on the course was new curbs on cart paths which cosmetically looks better but more time/money should be spent on maintaining course.
Staff was unfriendly
The starter was not organized. I showed up 10 minutes early and he had the other 2 booked with me already starting. After they teed off he told them to wait and that I had to join them. Then after I teed off and the other 2 went ahead, the starter stopped me again and told me our 4th had just arrived and I now needed to wait for them. The other 2 were in the fairway already and he said they'll be fine when telling our 4th to tee off. For the hot deal I got it was worth it but for the normal price of $70+ with a golf cart, it is not worth it. Some of the greens and tee boxes were in poor condition too.
Waited on every shot
2 groups that knew each other backed up the entire course causing many playing to leave early because they couldn't deal with it anymore. There were huge backups behind them and noone to be seen for 1-2 holes ahead of them. Course ranger was notified but nothing improved
under construction
The course has several tee boxes and cart paths under construction. So maybe next year.
The greens were horrible
Extremely slow play the rangers were out and did nothing about it. The greens were in horrible shape dried out and cracked. I will not play there until next year and hope it will be in better shape
Hot Day in the Course
Fairways not in good condition Ranger and Management should enforce cart path ruling during rain conditions.
Greens are to slow.
Always disappointed playing here
Shame on me for coming back here!
Once arriving, we were told there was a 15 min back up. No surprise since the last time we played here, it was a 5 and a half hour round on 4th of July.
We decided to putt on the practice putting green and of course there were no markers to act as holes and the surface was like “shag carpet”(according to someone else who was also upset with the conditions)
Once a foursome returned their carts, we were able to get out on the course. For some reason, starting at the very first tee, and the trend continued throughout the course, there were no markers to tee off from on a majority of the holes, especially the female tees. (not only the ones that are under construction).
To add to these issues, the very same putting green issues we had on the practice green by the clubhouse, were consistent with every hole on the course. How can any golfer play their game accurately with crappy greens?
Because of the construction on multiple holes, you’re losing the length of the course yet they are still charging the same high prices. Luckily, I used one of the deals of the day but if I paid the usual $80 they charge for this course, I would be even more disgusted like many of the people on the course who also voiced their opinion as we sat and waited at every hole.
To top it off, it’s more insult to injury, that they insist on a $3 parking fee. No other queens golf course charges parking fees. Like you’re not taking enough money from your patrons for sub par conditions. PLEASE be better!
