tee time
Unbelievably pack out had a tee time 1:15 had four groups of foursome ahead of me and it was 1:15 already, they refunded me my money, and said they were sorry, looks like they book to many, and don't have enough carts either, it is off my list. very nice staff.
Horrible management and holdups.
Today, my group visited La Miranda Golf Course, eager to enjoy a round of golf. However, our experience was marred by disappointments from the start. Despite having waited patiently for our turn, we were shocked when a group of individuals suddenly teed off in front of us, claiming special privileges due to their association with the course manager, Joseph.
This preferential treatment was not only unfair but also disheartening, especially considering the crowded conditions and the number of people waiting to tee up. It was evident that the management prioritized certain individuals over the paying customers, leaving us feeling disregarded and undervalued.
Furthermore, the lack of proper time management became apparent as we progressed through the course. With at least two groups on each hole, the pace of play was excruciatingly slow. By the time we reached the 14th hole, it was already 7 pm (we tee off at 2pm), and we made the decision to end our game prematurely due to the unreasonable delays.
Our overall experience at La Miranda Golf Course was far from satisfactory. The blatant favoritism shown towards select individuals, coupled with poor time management, greatly detracted from what could have been an enjoyable day on the course.
As a result of this experience, we intend to report these issues to American Golf and will refrain from returning to La Miranda unless measures are taken to address these concerns and eliminate any notion of special privileges. It is imperative that all patrons are treated fairly and that proper time management practices are implemented to ensure an equitable and enjoyable golfing experience for everyone.
Overbooked, extremely slow pace of play
Worst experience ever. No starter and they were backed up multiple teams. Our tee time was in between two large high school teams in a match up. Went back to clubhouse and they said to start at back 9. Same situation. Backed up three teams with three teams on our tail. We waited an average on 15 minutes per hole just to tee off. Didn’t even finish 9 holes before sunset. They shouldn’t be allowed to overbook like this or should provide a refund if they overbook. Never coming back here.
Awful overcrowded course
They care about getting as much money as possible over any type of control on the course. Every walking single is allowed to go and all holes are backed up two or three groups.
Daniel is the man
It all starts with the starter. Daniel was great. Got us out right after the tournament in front of us and made sure we didn't get behind (2) foursomes. He accommodated our late playing partner, which we greatly appreciated!
Oh yeah and the course was in great shape.
5.5hr round..
Pace of play incredibly slow with older golfers putting out every single putt and waiting to hit off every tee box when they dang sure know they can't hit the group in front. I don't even know why they allow walkers because is pretty dang hilly and pace of play is already horrendous.
Nearly impossible to find your ball in the rough.
Greens were rolling at a 12 and the ball rolled pretty true so that's a plus...
They also need to get this Korean bookie/bot situation under control. Seems like every course in SoCal/LA/OC area has 50-75% Korean seniors with the tee times... every weekend...
Implement an ID check for the person who books the tee time..
Slow pace if play
There are too many players walking. Golfers have to expect at least five hours to finish round. Sometimes it takes six hours. Just too slow.
