Gullane Golf Club - No. 3
About
The Gullane Golf Club No. 3 Course was ready for play in 1910, and now the first and last trios of holes sit on the east side of Highway A198. The other 12 holes lie on the south side of Gullane Hill and offer wonderful views across the Aberlady Bay, of Edinburgh and Firth of Forth.
Do not let the official yardage mislead you: At 5,259 yards, the par-68 golf course looks small, maybe simple, and there's only a single par-5, the 443-yard 14th.
This course, however, will test the most experienced golfer.

Gullane 3
Cracking short par67 with tremendous greens a really good test of links golf without being to long and tough good mix of sort holes and tougher longer holes so a really good test for all level of golfers
Great course
If this is the weakest of the three Gullane courses it just makes me want to really play the others even more.
A short but lovely links course with superb greens. Free range balls prior to playing adds to the value.
The par 3 15th is such an enjoyable golf hole.
Gullane
Excellent course, short but a challenge if you miss fairways, greens are typical links greens and bunkers are tuff but not ridiculous.very. friendly staff..
Great fun
Thoroughly enjoyed playing this terrific golf course, not overly long and completed my round in 3hrs behind a decent paced 3ball. Playing conditions were absolutely perfect and look forward to playing this course in the future.
Fantastic course in great condition
Played Gullane No.3 for the first time yesterday and really loved the course. Greens were in fantastic condition, they were a dream to putt on.
Liked the practice facilities too as good to hit a few balls (for free) to warm up before teeing off.
Clubhouse was in process of being renovated so can’t comment on those but course was great, would recommend to anyone.
Enjoyable round on a short but challenging course
Course was in great condition and presented a good challenge with the wind blowing.
Gullane no 3.
Gorgeous July day, not a cloud in the sky, and 25°. The golf course played beautifully and the staff were friendly and helpful. A great day's golf - we'll be back!
Another great day at Gullane
This is a great course, we have played it three times recently and it never fails to present different challenges, throw in the weather, a gentle breeze of the coast, pins positioned in some difficult locations makes for an interesting round. Staff in the visitors lounge were friendly and very helpful , ensured that we were not travellers from outside our area, we used the track and trace , enjoyed the light snacks and made the best of a windy day by the seaside, oh and somebody brought Gof clubs ................see you soon
A Different course every time l play
This is great course, and it tests you every time l return to play it, recommend it to anyone who links links golf. However, there does seem to be a lack of respect probably from the minority where pitch marks on the greens are not being replaced and divots not being replaced, l suppose it’s a reflection of the sheer volume of players moving through the course, but it’s time they were all remembered to look after the course, if they cause a pitch mark or a divot they at least try to replace/repair it.
Staff were friendly, although we only spoke to a green keeper and the starter,We followed a four ball and one of the guys was wearing a pair of demons and track shoes....
Gullane No:-3
Lovely setting for a collection of great Golf courses. Friendly staff and a great days Golf....
Short but very sweet!
Excellent experience today at Gullane. Friendly, welcoming staff at the Pro Shop and the starter was very good also. Weather wasn't the best during our round on no.3, typical wet and windy links weather but thats part of links golf in Scotland in October. The course, despite the conditions, was in excellent condition. No standing water to be seen with firm fairways and the greens were fantastic, very true and quick.
Course itself is short in yardage but the wind really protects it as do the well placed bunkers and the small greens. Really enjoyable place to play golf. The views at the top of the hill are stunning looking back towards Edinburgh and across the water. Particular favourite holes were the 7th and the 15th hole. Both elevated tee shots with fantastic views. Will definitely return to play golf in Gullane again.
