Calverton Links Golf Course

The course is in bad shape, fairways, greens are awful. Cannot recommend to a friend.

Calverton Links is usually in outstanding condition.
This was not the case during my last round.
My criticism is due to the poor condition of the fairways.
Most of the fairways contained tremendous bare spots where no grass was growing. The cause for this is unknown. I will probably wait to next season before I play this course again.
I would hope that the fairway conditions will be corrected by next year.

Greens and fairways were burnt up and needed a lot of attention.

I liked the course however many of the fairways and greens were in bad shape and i was hitting off spots with no grass in the middle of fairways. Also course too short for people who drive a ball >200 yards as I was mostly using my driver and pitching wedge,

Played here on a day it rained for about an hour while we played. Very slow and back up throughout the course. Conditions were soggy due to the rain, but you could tell the course had been having problems with the fairways and greens. Got a good deal on it, relatively easy, short course.

The course took a beating from the recent heat wave and is really horrible condition....PLAYER BEWARE

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They give you as many balls as you want to hit on the range. the sprinkler system was very suspect

I wish there was more access to drinking water on the course. It was a very hot day!

Overall a good experience but the greens were long and slow. Other than that the fairways and rest of course was in good shape and good layout if not short. I wouldn't play for full price but for a hot deal it's worth checking out.

In very good shape. Nice fairways and greens.

Should put up very high screens on both sides of driving range, that would make holes 1 and 2 much better.

Really enjoyed the experience. Course was in great shape and the staff was super friendly. I don't think the yardages on the scorecard were accurate.

For the most part the course was in good shape. The bunkers could use work but we have had a lot of rain. Shot 86 it was a good day.

Calverton on first look is a pretty course that looks easy, but even though it is not a long course, it offers other challenges. It was in very good shape on the first day on June when I played. The links style offers a different experience from many of the other nearby courses.

Had a 12:15 tee time and arrived about 20 minutes early ... course was clear and we went right out. Played as a twosome the entire course with no hold-ups and no one close behind ... it was being on our own private course. Did notice that the first tee seemed to be lined up when we passed it after the ninth hole, around 2:30. Course was in great shape and the greens were fine!

Greens are very slow and no fun, its like fairway other course

This was my first time playing this course and I enjoyed it very much and look forward to playing again soon. I got a great deal on golf now to play the course with a cart (1/2 price compared to what the course normally charges.) I will be back soon.

great place to play. slow greens but an excellent staff.

The pace of place was excellent. Finished in under 3.5 hrs. The course was in very good condition and had a great mix of long and short holes. Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Would definitely play here again.
