#18, short par 3. Photo submitted by nickesquire on 04/07/2018
Great par 3 course. I’m not sure why it does not have a restaurant or bar! It needs one for the amount of play it gets. With that I would give it 5 stars. Fun course!
Windy
Had a great time. Difficult do the wind. But will for sure play there again.
Practice shorter shots
This course is for a beginner golfer, or someone who wants to practice their wedges, or maybe a 9 or 8 iron. There was nothing over 140 yards, and most holes were between 80 and 120 yards. The staff and players were all very friendly, but this is for short wedge practice. The bunkers were quite deep and in fair condition. The greens were quick, but bumpy and sparse in places. The pace of play was good and everyone was friendly and cordial. Tees were beat up with divots , and hairy. Didn’t really matter though, cause you didn’t need a tee for the shorter clubs to hit . Fun course to walk, as there are no power carts allowed. Overall fun time , but not a course for a serious player.
Window of opportunity
Fit this course in when faced with 2 days of sitting idle due to rain. Very well maintained. Great par 54 course. Easily fit in a round without rain drops in about 2 hours.
Course seemed to be quite backed up for first nine holes. Had to sit and wait at each tee. Have played when it was not so backed up but certainly was this round.
Great "Practice" Course
If you're looking to tune up your iron play this is a great alternative to the driving range. All holes are par 3 of varyng distances, so you get an opportunity to use several different irons, from wedges to stronger irons. Also a good place to hone your putting. The course is in good shape, and although it's quite busy, the pace of play is average. Price is good, and it's good value for the money. We will be returning!
Fun and Challenging Par 3 18-Holer
Fun and challenging par 18-holer. For out-of-towners, the entire Palm Springs area has little to no courses that allow you to walk and also rent out pull-carts. This course being a par 3 layout, provided pull cart rentals and walking only, a nice change of pace for us walkers. We enjoyed the layout with plenty of bunkering and water coming into play. The homes are set back far enough to not impose on your game. Played in a little under 3 hours and just waited on a few holes. Greens were true and few ball marks to fix was nice surprise for a par3. Greens were not too tricky / pretty easy to read. Some were postage stamp size while others supersized. I will play here again if I ever return to Palm Springs (I doubt it due to the lack of walking accommodations).
