Conklin Players Club
About
Conklin Players Club is one of the best golf courses that the greater Binghamton area has to offer. It's easily accessible if you're located in northeastern Pennsylvania. The course is known for its consistently immaculate conditions as well as its interesting design. The layout has a nice flow that seamlessly blends a variety of different holes. Accurate shot placement is key on this up-and-down golf course. It's not a terribly long layout but there are several challenging tests in store. You almost forget about the difficulty of the course though when you're faced with the beautiful scenery. The views alone are worth playing a round at Conklin. The golf course's signature hole is the par-3 10th. Not only is there an island green, this hole also plays into the prevailing wind.

Great golf course
I've played here 3x this summer. Every time the course was in emaculate conditions. Greens are fairly quick but very receptive to approach shots. Layout makes u think your way around the course. I had an awesome time playing here! Take 2 extra clubs into #16.
The best conditioned course in our area
Conklin is renowned for their course conditioning and eye catching holes. I've often played along with people who drove 3 or more hours just to play here. With that said, the course isn't cheap by local standards ($55+). Needless to say, when you can find a better deal, (like what is offered on Golfnow) you'd better take it. Expect a 4 hour round on an average day. There is a ton of elevation change here with some spectacular views. Carts are electric with GPS and well maintained. Food is good and staff are cordial.
Excellent
It really doesn't get much better than this. Conditions A+
Scenery A+
Staff A+
Will be returning as much as possible!
Most beautiful course around!
CPC is the most beautiful course with in 200 miles! Amazing condition and wonderful mountain views. .If you have a chance to play anywhere near by then play here. And I've been playing golf in the finger lakes for 20 years.
CPC still my Fav
Last minute trip to the area allowed us to get a round in before Dinner. Staff was most helpful getting us in behind a large group finishing up shotgun start. Had the course to ourselves and took advantage by enjoying the scenery and relaxed pace. Played with a first timer to the course and he can't wait to come back again.
Still my favorite NY public course.
Good course
Was pleasantly surprised by the layout and the condition of this course. Would definitely recommend playing here if you are in the area.
FUN FUN FUN!!!!!!
Very nice course. We'll kept and if your looking for a challenge and a great time this is your place.
Great layout and excellent setting and conditions.
Played this course for the first time on the 12th July and just loved it. The layout is fair and challenging. The fairways are in topnotch shape. The overall course condition and grounds are beautiful. Can't wait to get back this fall.
Great Course
Great course to play. The GPS System on the carts is a great feature. Did not get to play the back 9 because of a tornado warning in the area but even playing 9 holes for the price was worth it. Looking forward to playing it in nice weather to get all 18 in. Will definetly be back.
Well worth the trip!
This is an amazing course for a public course. The course is pristine with great tees, fairways, and greens. Each hole brings a new challenge--no two holes are similar. We live in GA and play here whenever we are back in this area. Decent food and favorite beer-Yengling-on tap. Upstairs restaurant has a great view of the golf course which has strategically placed flowers, trees, and ponds. You will not regret making a trip to play this gem.
slow play
Great course but pace of play was extremely slow.A beautiful course. Its in great condition.
Very pretty course
We found the greens rather slow but the course is very well tended and manicured. We enjoyed the challenge that this interesting course posed. We played only 9 holes due to heavy rainfall and thunder, however we got a raincheck for the remaining 9 validuntil the end of the season. Excellent!!
Most Greens Dead and brown
The staff was very helpful.
Tees and fairways were in very good condition.
Most of the greens had many large brown areas and many were almost all brown. It wasn't just the color of the grass. The brown areas were dead or dormant grass. It was difficult to read the putts because of the varying conditions of each green.
They added some new Blue Tees/Tips (since I played the course more than 20 years ago) which made it more challenging but still very fair/playable. A good drive still left a short iron into each par 4. I had one 5 iron after a mis-hit driver, but on most of the par 4 holes I had an 8 iron or less to the pin. Most shots have some sort of elevation change which made club selection much more challenging than the typical flat layouts I have been playing in Florida for the last twenty years. They changed or added a new par 3 on the front which was done well with an uncharacteristic two tiered green which I liked. The par 3's were the most dificult to par holes on the course in my opinion. Lots of water or severe areas surrounding the par 3's.
I won't play this course again until July or so, hoping the greens recover. They might not recover this year. Overall the greens were about a 3 out of 10. If they were an 8 or better out of 10 this course would deserve a 5 out of 5 stars.
None Better!
Even well past the normal season, the course is in excellent condition. Great greens, manicured fairways, variety of holes designs, all kept clear of normal fall debris. A worthwile value at regular prices, a great value at Golf Now discounts. For all these reasons, my favorite public course in upstate New York.
Probably the nicest course in our area.
Conklin is a beautifull course in excellent condition. I love playing there and Golfnow got us on at a bargain price. It was also a beautifull weather day which made it even better.
Very Nice Layout
A great course with challenging holes and a nice layout. Some very picturesque views and the course conditions were very good.
What a deal!
Excellent course, great layout, multiple tee boxes to choose from, GPS in carts, and well maintained. The inside and outside staff is friendly and courteous.
better than ever
the course is in the best condition i have ever seen it, not that conklin was ever in less than great condition..for late september, it was as green as ever and as great to look at as ever..one of the best public courses i have ever played..
