Pine Ridge Golf Club
About
Pine Ridge Golf Club was carved from pine forests in central Long Island. Located in Coram, the course's player-friendly layout is a popular choice for all skill levels. The narrow, tree-lined fairways demand accuracy and the greens are fast and can be hard to read but it's not an overly punishing golf course for high handicappers. The risk-reward opportunities will test your course management and strategic thinking skills. If played smartly, you could find yourself with a birdie, particularly on the two driveable par 4s on the front nine. Several bunkers lurk throughout and water comes into play occasionally as well. You'll also face several sharp doglegs, both left and right. In addition to the golf course, Pine Ridge also offers a practice facility that includes a driving range, putting green, and a large grass teeing area.

Over Priced Trash
There’s no reason to ever play here other than you just want to burn money. At this price it’s insane. There is plenty of other really nice golf courses in the area for the same price with 10000% better conditions.
Don’t Play Here
I’ve pleated here twice in my life and it’s safe to say that I won’t be playing a 3rd. They just upgraded their fleet of golf carts when they should’ve upgraded their cart path (it’s non existent). Sand traps are rockier than the north shore beaches and tee boxes look like the beaches on D-day.
Cart Fees
The Golf Now site states $15 for the cart. we had a party of 3 they charged $20 each for 1 cart and $30 for the second cart. Very misleading.
Pine Ridge
The course isn't horrible but when you compare it to other courses based on the price for the conditions, it is very sub par. Should be $40 to play but it's like $70. Would recommend anywhere else for that type of price. Not too bad though in general. If its close by and you have the money you can give it a try.
Terrible
10 years ago, yeah this place was nice. Well kept. Since then it’s been crappy at best. Tee boxes are bad, fairways are OK at best. Greens are terrible. Rough is bad. Everything is sub par.
And on top of that green fees they ask way too much for what theyre dishing out..
Just stay home
Sprinklers
These guys have nerve to charge 80 for a round and have the sprinklers running all day every other hole you’re hitting to the sprinklers
So much potential
The course is destroyer. The fairway is a mess. The rough is a non existent, it's just dirty and patches of grass. Even the things that are easy to control like the bunkers are a mess. Grass growing out of them. We played on a Saturday morning. The place was not maintained at all!!! Never going back!!
Needs work
Don’t bother walking, some paths between holes are very long, similar to Holbrook course. Only fairway and greens have grass, there is none or barely any rough lining grass, it’s only dense beach sand or bare landfill the entire length of each hole. Careful going into wooded areas, found a few ticks.
The layout from the whites were fun and it can easily increase in difficulty playing the back tees.
Cart price is $30 pp
Not Ready Yet
Ridiculous price for a course that is in such poor condition. Green terrible, like playing through a war zone. Was asked if i would be beck next week...NO.....
Too many other courses close by that are emaculate.
Pass
Course is really beat up, no rough, not worth 75 dollars with cart
