Lake Isle Country Club
About
Located in the heart of Eastchester, Lake Isle Country Club is a facility that is owned by the town and offers a swimming complex with five pools and a tennis center with eight courts in addition to the 18-hole, championship golf course. Opened in 1926, the course is one of the oldest in the area and it is still a local favorite. At just over 6,000 yards from the back tees, the course may be on the shorter side but it still offers some challenging holes. The layout is mostly reachable par 4s as well as a few tricky par 3s and only an occasional par 5. The golf course has a classic design that is approachable enough for a range of skill levels to feel comfortable tackling the layout.

We showed up early, and asked if we could tee off early by chance, and were told by pro shop, no, there were groups in front of us.. so my party of Two, putted around on the practice green... which was right next to the Teebox, and no one teed off for the next 20 minutes!! He could have very easily slipped us in there ... we are avid golfers , we sure we're not going to slow anybody down .. I thought the pro shop was rude .
Well maintained and great staff. Course in great shape.

Very enjoyable course
This a very nice course , very well maintained.
Nice facilities .
Pace of play was great
As good as any private course
A new option
Oddly this course has never come up on my various booking apps. So I was surprised when it did with a nice pre-holiday Friday tee time at 12:30. The graphic layout of the track makes it appear mostly straight boring holes, but in real life, it's fairly narrow, albeit short, and fun to play (AFTER the first two holes which are not inspiring). The landscaping is beautiful with huge mature trees hanging ready to eat what you thought was a perfect drive. Greens can be challenging with many swells. The facility is okay. A snack shack with what you'd expect, which is also serving the pool and tennis club the course is part of. No post round drinks though as a regular bar is not to be found. So play for cash!
I look forward to trying this one out again.
Ball Marks
No one repairs ball marks at this course! My 4-some spent an unnecessary amount of time fixing numerous ones before we could putt! As a result, the greens weren't in very good shape.
Very long par 3s and short par 4th.
Too many other good courses to play and will skip this one.
Playable
The course is short and plays easy . A couple par 3 s are challenging due to length. Greens in good shape and rolled well. Didn’t play well but will be back.
