No etiquette from other golfers
Two singles were skipping and jumping holes seemingly at random. This is especially annoying when someone who wasn't there suddenly cuts in front of you to play a hole. Twosome played the sides out of order so suddenly made the turn back to front and seemed annoyed that they had to wait for me on hole 1. the only reason to play this course is the hot deal price.
Great short course, very nice greens
Really enjoy this course. Although it’s a short course, it’s fun to play. The greens are great. I’m from Texas and the greens down there are not very good so I appreciate the greens keepers work. Online booking is easy and the folks behind the desk are nice.
Sad
The course itself is in okay shape. Greens are okay. Tee boxes were bare and uneven. Cart paths are overgrown with tree roots sticking up six inches making driving the cart feel dangerous. Carts themselves run poorly and are very loud. They have a very loud whine before they start moving forward. At one point, one of the staff started mowing the fairway we were playing! There are no water or outhouse facilities on the course. No water in the infrequent ball washers. The pro shop staff seemed bored and completely disinterested. Overall, not impressed.

Eh
Tee boxes are rock solid to the point I had to search for a spot soft enough to get my tee in. Course was just eh. Definitely a easier course. Hard to lose a ball for sure.

Good Course for A Beginner
Excellent course for a beginner or someone just learning to play. would be good for your first time out or teaching someone. Pace is set based off the level of the players in front of you but a great course for the cost. Greens and fairways are well maintained.

Good practice
Great place to work on your game. Greens are a little rough today but it could be due to recent rains and lack of mowing.
Good practice
Nice day, course in very good condition considering the amount of play it gets. Fairways, tees and greens well manicured. Only complaint is the condition of the poor golf carts. Most are well worn and don't run or start well. The carts need some maintenance.
Nice workout
Somewhat overcast and windy, but no rain so overall we lucked out. This is a short course compared to those we normally play, but a good test and fun layout. Course is in very good conditions and greens are amazingly flat and fast. Overall well worth the price, even though this course gets alot of play. Players move through fairly quickly so it makes for a good outing.
Good course for staying in shape
This course is usually in good condition and very playable. Greens are usually well kept and fairways are generally well mowed. The only negative is that it is a relatively short course but does allows a pan efficient round and good chances to practice your shots. Don’t need to swing for the hills on your tee shots. We come often to sharpen up our skills.
No tee time needed!
We booked an 11am tee time online. Once we got there at 10:45 and waited til 11:10 there wasn’t a cart to be used and there was a line of people waiting for carts to come in. When I checked the site again they still had tons of tee times available. No carts however. We left and went to another course who was able to give us a tee time
The online tee times at Lyndon are simply there to offer a better price through golfnow which you most likely had booked. However COVID has put the cart supply in a pinch due to single rider requests. As many areas of our lives have been inconvenienced by the pandemic so has this. We are sorry that you were so disappointed with a short wait that you didn't get to experience the course yet rated it poorly in every category anway.
