Old man is horrible
I’ve been to this course plenty of times and I’ve never had a problem but the older gentleman working here have me the worse attitude of all, he knows who I am , I come here all the time. He was rude and unprofessional, my buddy came along and was not even here to play and the older guy made a scene and I paid for my buddy to walk with me, he didn’t play at all. I’ve played multiple times and spent a lot of money here. I’m not coming here Anymore.
50/50
If they were able to schedule the times between players better then the pace would be fine. I don’t like the rush of playing so quickly and arguing with others. All in all it’s more maintained now then when I played last month and two months ago, hole 9 and hole 10 are the worse do to the ground being so wet all the time, you will definitely wet your feet and get mud in your shoes. Besides that it’s a cool course.
Fun for the whole family
Very fun little pitch and putt, I brought complete beginner golfers along with me and they also had a good time. The greens were in pretty bad condition, ball marks and divots and random bare patches everywhere, but it was also the dead of winter and it's a cheap pitch and putt so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Overall a fun distraction and a good course to introduce people to "real" golf.
How do people rate this that high
Course is horrible in terms of condition. A pitch and putt is a great place to relax and get some short game practice with no pressure. But the conditions were horrible just lain and simple. Not worth it at all
Very Nice Short Game Practice!
It was really a Very Nice Short Game Practice with 18 par 3 holes.
Will ne back again with my friends who need short game improvements.
Great place to work on your short game or for beginners.
Went with my daughter, 10. She was able to make the greens in 2 and it was a good all-around way to tune my short game. Greens are heavily divoted, so not ideal putting.
Dirty but affordable
The course isn’t maintained well, very dirty, the flag is always moves around. No staff around around to assist in any way, some courses are oddly developed to the point one swinging can send a ball to your head. All in all, it’s ok, it’s decent for first timers and the penny in the dollar but I wouldn’t attend so much, the mini golf/putting area Is better the the golf course itself.
Friendly course
Family oriented and great for short game practice.
Amazing is the word
Complete fun and family time coupled with value for money.
Short, Fun Pitch and Putt!
This is a great spot to take someone who is learning the game. It's also a good place to work on short wedges as the longest hole is no more than 85 yards. Each 'tee box' is a pad similar to what you see at driving ranges, so there's no shots taken off the actual grass. Greens are somewhat beat up but this place it more about having a good time and not taking your game too seriously. That being said, it can definitely present a challenge if you don't commit to the shot or land the ball in the wrong place on the green. Worth the trip on the 7 train if you want a short little round!
Unable to be refunded
This is the first time I made a reservation by way of my phone. When I was done I saw the date was wrong. I tried and tried with no success to get a hold of someone at Golfnow. After five frustrating hours I contacts a chat which was automated and zero help.
Fun easy spot to play!
Nothing fancy but cheap and fun short course! Not formal at all, no need for real golf attire. Great spot to bring beginners or those less serious about golf. Probably the easiest golf to get to from Manhattan, just take the 7 all the way. Close to the Mets stadium and the US Open area.
A gem in Queens
My friend discovered this place this year. It is a very challenging Pitch and Putt course kept in very good condition. Holes are from 40-80 yards so great practice for your short game. We mostly play at night under the lights. The stadium lights really work great. Definitely recommended for golfers of all levels. They also have a miniature golf course which is great for the family. Snack bar has basic food hamburgers, hot dogs and beer and soda. Prices are pretty reasonable. Staff is very friendly. Jerry the manager is fun to talk to.
The Run Down lol
I play this course all the time. I stay the night in flushing at least twice a week, it's literally a 15 minute walk from the apt , and the course is 5 min walk directly to the 7 train. A lot of people complain about this course because of the staff, beer man, or the pace of play. In all honesty this is NYC , that's just the city moral . This place is great for hanging out with your buddies, beginners, experienced players , and family. If your looking for something spectacular or your country club field this is not for you. I'm from NYC to have this in my back yard is amazing. The price sucks, it is very expensive . The best thing tho is the cheap beers and you can play at night being that it's has stadium lights all over. Last tee time is 11pm . So if you have a argument with the wife and need a hour or 2 to yourself at night this is the place to be. I like the trees , the bunkers, all the obstacles. It also has that rugged NYC fowl smell lingering. Maybe the smell is from Citi Field across the street being the Mets play there lol.
