Lovely links challenge

Lovely challenge on the Scottish coast. Plenty of challenging holes mixed with good chances to score if the ball is kept in play.
Course was in fine condition for a November lunchtime; with a brisk breeze up and down the course keeping players honest.
Excellent pace of play.
Staff in the shop were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Great day and will be sure to be back.

Perfect Links

Fantastic welcome & allowed to change tee off time. So many interesting holes. Truly links and challenging to play to one's handicap (11). A must play if in the area. Wonderful holes & greens ran true, but the layout is 9 out almost in a line, with 9 back, so a halfway break not possible.

Links classic.

A proper old fashion links course. Great fun and challenging enough with the breeze.
Thoroughly recommended.

Good Links course

A nice simple links course. Course was in good condition, green running pretty true and not too fast. Rough wasn't too thick so was possible to hit off line and find your ball on most holes. 1st 7 holes are into the prevailing wind so you will probably make score back coming back in to the clubhouse. Couple of nice par 3's on the course, but apart from that it is a pretty standard links course.

Great Value

Glad we took advantage of a cheap golf deal to play this surprisingly good course which has always had a good reputation. Although the greens were not at their best due to frost the course was really enjoyable and great value for money. The Par 3's are great holes to play and we will definately be back in the summer when the greens are fast and the rough is up. The welcome from the staff was also first class.

Great value golf

As high handicap players we enjoyed the openness of the course. Greens and fairways were in good condition. Water hazards brought a challenge to a few holes. Great to see ball retrievers where required!

A solid test of links golf

A lovely wee course, with very well protected greens. Wild rough and challenging undulations leave little margin for error.

A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, with all the facilities that you would expect. As we had played late afternoon we unfortunately missed the kitchen opening hours for a spot of dinner, but a warm welcome was received both before and after our round.

Defiantly worth a visit.

A fine course

Not a long course and nice and flat makes it an easy walk. However, dont let the wide fairways deceive you into thinking this is an easy course. Large undulating greens and well-placed bunkers keep you on your toes! Some excellent holes here and what a wee gem the 16th is. I played Royal Aberdeen the day before and loved the short 8th there. This is similar!
Pro Lindsay and staff very welcoming and good service in clubhouse.
