Abbey Springs Golf Course in Fontana is routed through mature woodlands that give it a peacefully secluded feel. Surrounded by countryside and enclosed within towering trees, the course is an ideal getaway. The challenging course has small, sloped greens and water hazards that come into play on half of the holes. It is a golf course that requires accuracy, especially when maneuvering past the strategically placed bunkers that lurk beside the greens. There are plenty of challenges in store for more advanced players, but beginners can still approach the course with confidence. The excellent condition of the course is also a feature that any golfer can appreciate. Abbey Springs Golf Course's signature hole is the par-4 17th, which offers what might be the most scenic of all the vistas on the course. This hole plays from an elevated tee that overlooks Lake Geneva.

Excellent course
The course was in great shape! Spectacular view of the area, and wonderful layout. I would say this is one of the best courses I have played in Wisconsin! Staff was very polite, and helpful. Everything was great...even with cold weather.
One of my favorites
I am an avid golfer, and it is always a treat when I get to head to Lake Geneva to play a round here. The pro there is a great guy, and he maintains an excellent course. The course is short, tight, and challenging. The greens will give you nightmares! They are always in great shape, but man can they be tough to read. Lots of memorable holes, especially number 17. One of the prettiest holes I've ever played. You also have an opportunity to knock out an ace and albatross on the same shot. I cannot recommend this course enough. You will not be disappointed.
Great course with elevation changes
Beautiful course that is well designed with a nice layout. The course was well maintained and the staff was very accomodating. Fast greens with a lot of slope added to the challenge. Thanks Golfnow for the great deal.

Country club environment
Course is difficult, with narrow fairways, huge mature trees, uneven lies, blind shots, strategic use of water, severe elevation changes and undulating greens. Enjoyable, but not for a beginner.
excellent challenging golf course
The only negative was that greens are in the midst of the aeration process. Everything else, fairways, etc. was top notch.
Beautiful setting with challenges for all skill levels.
Set in a heavily-treed area on the South Shore of Lake Geneva, WI,
the course offers numerous elevation changes with some truly spectacular views of the lake itself. The course is well maintained with some of the nicest "rest stations" you will ever encounter out on a golf course (you won't find any porta-potties out here). There are four sets of tee boxes not including the women's tee - enough to challenge all but touring pros! But, you gotta hit it straight or the woods will eat you alive. I love this course!
Beautiful setting for a classic style course

I hears it was beautiful, it is lots of elevation challenges and big ones , short par 4's down hill, 50-100 ft drops, awesome , absolutley gorgeous . big fast greens very playable, if you walk better be in shape,
Fantastic views and maintained well
Found a $24 deal on Saturday. For the price, the course was incredible and unbeatable. For the $79 normal price, I would say exactly the same. The course was excellently maintained and the views were incredible, as there are a number of hills scattered throughout. The staff were also extremely friendly and accommodating.
Beautiful Landscape
This course is by far the best course I've played on thus far. Granted I haven't played very long, the course offers great friendly staff with challenging changes in elevation. The course however is very straight play, as in not many turns or twists to the course it self.
Several interesting hole,some great views and several holes are very challenging

Course has wonderful views, and great layout, with elevation changes.
Had a wonderful time , would recommend this course to ALL levels of players. Fall colors will be spectacular. The course was in great shape, even with this years drought.
Gotta try it you'll love it, and play it again, and again.
