The Ferntower Course is the 18-hole championship layout at Crieff Golf Club, which has been voted 29th best golfing facility in the UK by the readers of Golf World magazine. Ferntower is built on gently sloping parkland, with views over the Strathearn Valley that dramatically improve and unfold as the round progresses. With mostly wide fairways and the rough cut short enough to avoid prolonged ball searching, Ferntower appeals to all categories of handicapper. The par-71 golf course starts with a par-3 hole, a change from the norm. Although the opening hole measures 163 yards, it's all uphill, and there are three par 5s, among the remaining holes on the front nine.

Excellent days golfing
Played this course on the 2nd June with a works outing for the first time
Course in excellent condition
Food really good and staff were very nice

Layout
Layout besiwgich can be done on the land. Many side hill lies.

Great course
Played here a few times now for £25 through GN and never been disappointed.Only been in pro shop where pro always friendly and on the course which has always been in great condition.Some work being done at 15th tee looks like being a cracking new tee position.Still to try food but will do next time.
Lush Fairways & Greens
A very well maintained course with generous lush fairways ; this and the length of the course may suggest it is not a tough test for low handicappers. However the greens provide the difficulty. There is barely a straight putt on the course and even in wet conditions they run very smoothly.
Course conditions
The course was presented in excellent condition. Staff were friendly and helpful. Playable by all levels of golfers.
Outstanding
Done a lot of courses through golf now over the yrs but got to say Crieff golf club is probably the best course I have played in along time course condition was outstanding from tee to green I would say the best greens I’ve played for a long time and the staff so friendly from the pro shop to the bar staff to the catering staff absolutely amazing thank you for a wonderful day

Well worth the money
Crieff is a lovely course and always well presented. Great fun - fair and you can get away with the odd wayward drive.
Friendly clubhouse staff & cracking wee course
We booked this at the late minute and were so glad we did, course was in great condition considering the time of year. The clubhouse and pro shop staff welcomed us in a warm friendly manner.
Clubhouse food and bar are value for money and our breakfast rolls were excellent and just what we needed before teeing off.
