Falkirk Golf Club
About
Known locally as "Carmuirs," Falkirk Golf Club is a parkland layout with slight undulation. It's a 6,230-yard par-71 course from the back tees.
Falkirk will undergo a significant renovation in the coming years. David J. Russell, a PGA Professional and golf course architect, has made several recommendations on improving the layout that will be incorporated into the course.
New practice facilities have also been added: four practice bays, a practice putting green and "short game" area for pitching and bunker play. A fully-stocked pro shop is on site, managed by resident professional Stewart Craig.

Excellent course ,good test for all golfers ,you need to look at course map as you can get lost
Course in reasonable condition
Good value at £20 and the starter was friendly and helpful. Although the clubhouse was open, the bar and kitchen were closed at 2pm?
An interesting layout. Would help to have a course layout on the card. Couple of greens in poorer condition than the rest, but could be expected for this time of year.
Overall a good experience and would recommend.
Very disappointed
The welcome from the outset was poor, the pro took an age to look up from his screen to acknowledge us and couldn't work the card machine. We asked for a small favour regarding our time and were met with a firm no which felt unreasonable given how quiet the tee was.
The course itself was in very poor condition. The tees were a mess, the fairways were ok in parts but the greens and fringes were awful. Generally there were parts of the course dug up with and a long way from being presentable. It felt like a poorly maintained local authority course.
On return to the clubhouse the bar was closed and there was no option for a coffee, juice or any food... nor any thought that this was out of the ordinary.
Not a welcoming place to visit and a poor way to spend a morning. I will not be back and will be asking for a refund.
Nice course
Nice parkland course with some gentle hills. All the holes are different with some challenging shots needed. Enjoyed it and will go back.
Very nice layout and challenging fairways
Cant fault the course at all. Greens were in great condition and fairways mint too. Great layout and the views from some of the elevated tee's are stunning. The play feels pretty rushed though as the twice ive played here ive been stuck behind someone and also have folk stuck behind me. I wouldnt pay full price for this course as i dont think its wuite worth what they are asking but definitely worth playing if the price is right

Booked my round here as I had a Thursday off work. Arrived to sunny skies and enjoyed a crispy bacon roll and a cup of tea. Partnered up with three guys who were great company. Really lovely course in great condition with a good mix of challenging and easier holes, 14 15 and 16 are particularly nice. Knocked it round in 80 for 69 which matched the par of the course. I'm currently traveling 1hr 20min every Sunday to play my home course, Falkirk is only 35min away, might just be time for a switch ....
Falkirk Golf club.
Cracking course, excellent greens.
Would definitely play again.
Exceptional value for money.
The course was in good condition and the greens were immaculate .Unfortunately there was no catering due to covid, however would certainly recommend and would play the course again
