About
Located just northwest of downtown Milwaukee, Washington County Golf Club (formerly known as Family Park Golf Course) feels much further thanks to its seclusion in the beautiful Kettle Moraine area. Arthur Hills designed the course, which is ranked second in the nation among municipal golf course in Golf Digest. The layout sprawls across wide-open, gently rolling terrain. The subtle contours of the landscape provide a few difficult lies and they can also make the greens hard to read but overall it is a course that most players can approach with confidence. Thanks to a versatile layout it appeals to a wide range of skill levels and it is an ideal spot for tournaments and events. Over the years Washington County Golf Club has hosted several championships including the U.S. Open Qualifying Round and the Wisconsin PGA Championship.

Play here every year. Never disappointed. In great condition even this early in the season.
Course is in great shape, fun, and awesome staff!
Course was in excellent condition, early morning rate to walk was outstanding and greens were moving great for early in the season!
Can’t wait to get out for even more of a challenge when the trees, fescue, and environment is in full bloom!

Course is in great shape and one of the best in the area. We play all over WI, but make a point of playing here at least once a year. Play it...and you'll know why.
Fall golf excellent condition
Course was in excellent condition and was a perfect fall day for golf
There is no comparison for a public course!
Easily the best municipal course in the state of Wisconsin. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are as close to a private course as you can get. The only negative I see are the traps. The sand has a lot of stones/pebbles and makes shots on the difficult side. They are a little too firm.
Tough course
This course is tough. Greens are huge and fast. Any shot off the fairway is pretty hard to even find your ball. If you like a real challenge this course is for you. Casual golfers might want to pass on this one.

The rough was deep and thick. Everything else was great
Hidden Gem
If you play golf in Wisconsin I would recommend you check out this place. I drive from Whitewater just to play here.
Great track!
Got rained on today but that didn’t stop us lol. We made it thru 18. Course as always was in great shape! 100% recommended easily!
